Yes 1969 MSQ was priceless I didnt get to see those shows I was only 13 But I did see the 1972 MSQ shows with Mick Taylor and they were totally awesome I remember standing out on the street and the street was rocking up and down Rolling Stones At There Very Best Mick Taylor Was the man

Yep, both of these, or at least "Under My Thumb," should have been on the original LP "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out". I love Chuck Berry but they didn't need two of his songs on the album.

I don't own the 40th Anniversary of Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out. Did these two tracks segue into each other when they were originally recorded? I noticed on Wikipedia these two tracks are separate! If they do segue, who is the genius who decided to separate them on the 40th Anniversary release?
Well on the 40th Anniversary the songs are tracked and titled separately but there's no cut or fade between the songs. If you're listening to the album it will go together just like this and you'll just notice the track number/title change if you're looking.
Whilst performing "Under My Thumb" at "Altamont", Meredith Hunter was savagely stabbed to death by a member of the Hell's Angels. What a tragedy! It seems in retrospect, that the '60's truly ended with the murder of Meredith Hunter and the Sharon Tate and La Bianca murders in '69 by Hippies led by Charles Manson. Note: Was the Hell's Angel that murdered Meredith Hunter ever prosecuted?
Yes he was prosecuted and they found him innocent As he acked in self defense and they couldnt prove he inflicted the Fatel woned The doctors said he was killed by and upstock and it shows on film that he was stabbed by a down stroke That Hells Angle was found dead by a mysterious drowning
Yes we've all seen the movie, and also seen that Hunter was waving a pistol around. The 60s ended when the counter-culture was turned mainstream and poseurs from all over the country ran away and descended on them. When bands like the Beatles and Stones (who I love) co-opted it because it was in style, when Woodstock was in theaters or when Incense And Peppermints hit the airwaves. What a lot of people consider the 60s was really just the mainstream leftovers that came out during the death throes.
