I graduated high school in 1997. Heard this song for the first time working at a stereo store in the mall back then. Every time I tried to sell a stereo system I would put this song in. In my opinion, even the worst stereo back then could be made to sound good with this song rocking through it. It still resonates through me to this day. Love this music!

Another Brian Jones classic. Jones neglected to put his name on the songwriting credit, but he deserves a major if not lion's share credit for this number. Sgt Pepper became the industry standard for how an album would be made from then on. It's not an unpopular opinion to say they're the greatest of all time, you could probably pull up any magazine's 'Top 100 bands ever' and the Beatles would top most if not all of them. I'm not Stones hater, Richards is a pioneer of distortion, I love most of the big Stones tracks, and I'm a fan of a few of the deep cuts, but Let It Bleed just absolutely pales in comparison to Sgt Pepper or Revolver.

@@megagrips6470No there is not. There is only people trying to copy real creativity. There is also some awesome technical beasts like Bonamassa and many other young musicians. But someone like Jacob Collier or Chris Stapleton couldnt write a real rocknroll classic even if their lives depended on it. Capitalism turned art into a meaningless profit hunt. Almost zero real songwriter genius - Dylan's, Lennon's or for god sake even someone like Robert Johnson. Real innovators.
