I read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase long ago, when I was a child, and I remember being on the edge of my chair from suspense. I think you will enjoy it.

The Wolves of Willoughby Chase was a childhood favourite of mine. It was the first one in a series. It had a weird film made of it, if I remember correctly. The film played fast and loose with the plot of the book and caused a few issues with the set up for the subsequent sequels.

Hi @BookCravings. I just found your channel. I loved the content. I am also Brazilian and I am living in Brazil. Would you recommend me any webstore that delivers the books in good conditions? Recently, I bought 3 books from a online big retailer and, unfortunatelly, they all came damaged. Due to poor packaging, the books were damaged in transportation. So I had to return them. It is very frustrating to buy a big and beautiful Taschen book, open the box , and see that it is destroyed because the web store employees don't give a damm. Vc poderia, por favor, me dizer a loja q vc comprou estes livros? Todos seus livros chegaram em ótimas condições :) . Pode me responder no privado se preferir. Any suggestion of bookstore that respects the books is welcome.

Make sure you keep the books safe though! I'm not saying that because I know anything about kids. Just that apparently when I was a kid I read so much I ended up destroying a lot of my parents' nice books!
Things are going good for me. My writing has really taken off. It's funny, because I've always preferred writing fiction, but it's my poetry that's blowing up right now. So I guess I'm a poet now? Anyway, I actually have a possible publishing opportunity coming up, so that's cool. And I'm saving up for a good camera so I can start posting videos of spoken word poetry.

PLEASE HELP! I am looking to buy classics but I am having trouble finding which to buy. id prefer if they all were from the same publisher and pleasing (something that pops) to look at. $25 or under per book and durable. annotated books would be preferred as well, any recommendations? I've spent hours looking and I come across the same few collections

Did folio raise the prices of their books? I checked on a book I’ve wanted for a while the other day and I could’ve sworn it was quite a bit less. (And I wasn’t checking when a sale was going on so I know that wasn’t it)
Yes, unfortunately they did. That’s one of the reasons I stopped buying. They charge even more overseas. I’ll restrain myself until the next sale. The prices are impossible :(
That sucks. I really want a lot of books from them but couldn’t afford the prices before so was waiting for a sale. Now I super can’t afford them 😕 idk why they can’t have their prices more in line with everymans library. Because of the illustrations and stuff I would expect them to be a bit more but not dramatically so.

Unfortunately the new year sale was a bit disappointing to me, specially because row prices made everything more expensive... since Folio released the new website (and decided to charge more for the same books) I’ve been focusing on other publishers. I have some Fs books on my wishlist but row prices are so discouraging...
