"Unfortunately white pages..." 😂 Haha! Everytime I see books with white pages I hear your voice in my head saying that. 😂

It is a pretty edition, really inexpensive and the illustrations are very unusual. =)

If you're interested in book design, might I suggest looking up both Bruce Rogers and William Morris? The latter is the founder of the Kelmscott Press, and if you get a chance... have a look at images of the Kelmscott Chaucer. He also wrote something called 'The Ideal Book'... it's sitting on my shelf, but I haven't read it yet. These two deal more with letterpress printing and design, and Morris' was well-known during the Arts and Crafts movement... his books are gorgeous, IMO.

Omg, I also love "The Red and the Black"! And it is sooo underrated :( You have really beautiful books, it's like an art gallery)) Love watching these, although irl I'm so indifferent to covers and editions.

Julien Sorrel. What a character... I wish people talked more about this novel. And I wish I had enough knowledge of the French language to read the original...

I loved Don Quixote. But didn't enjoy Moby Dick and Les Miserables is a beast of a book! 😀

Don Quixote is something of a parody. Perhaps read King Arthur and similar books to get the humor.

Try it on Amazon! I got in on Amazon Brazil, but maybe it is available on Amazon Portugal. There is Livraria Cultura too. I guess they sell books worldwide. Sorry for taking so long to reply... I was traveling =)
