Creme brûlée is a vanilla custard that’s baked in a water bath then once cooled off for a few hours in the fridge, you sprinkle sugar on top and then torch it. The fruits aren’t always part of a Creme brûlée but they’re a good addition. Hope that helped clarify what it is. 😅

Then I found out how freaking easy it is to make myself. Literally egg yolks, sugar, heavy whipping cream and vanilla. Best part is buying and using a torch on it. Sooooo satisfying, but I for myself, I actually omit that stage for my portion because I hate feeling like I'm eating crackly glass.
