- Finland is building a fence at its border with Russia in an attempt to keep out Russians. CGTN reporter Aljoša Milenković continues his road trip between the two nations and says border officials report hardly any illegal migration.
Relations between the two countries have long been frosty. As a desolate journey across the frozen landscape aptly reflects.

demilitarize the whole region? this is what i would suggest if i were in position to do so, even to stop a current invasion or prepared mass offensive on many fronts, finnish in nato is a big concern for russia i can pick the intuitive though by vibrations , this is the real concerns of the russian at this point always has been, if the plan is stop a catastrophic consequences of starting a real conflict that can escalate to a dangerous level, i would suggest directly for this whole region especially , no army for the whole northern peninsula, this is the only way to either invade scandinavia or invade russia from scandinavia, russian are not super skilled tacticians but they never stop, a bit like me
If there is a land mass for graps and without an army then Russia would take it, as they have done in Ukraine.
Finns no longer trust Russians, they lie too much and the trust is completely gone.

Majority opposed to join Nato, UNLESS Russia do something radical in Europe. Once Russia did "Special military operation", it changed everything over night. Majority favoured joining Nato after that. Choise was crystal clear after that. So Government of Russia made that decision for us. And we are not doing to withdraw it any more. No matter how many nuklear war threats, under sea cable cutting or asylum seekers border dumping they do
