"People get really lit to Maneater"
And deservedly so. Loose was such an iconic ERA, and I love that it was so massive in Europe, specially in Central Europe (much much more than in North America), but I always felt like Maneater was kinda overlooked compared to Say It Right and All Good Things (Come To An End). Like, the three of them were #1 hits in Europe, but the last 2 topped the European chart for MONTHS (each, yes, each), while Maneater was just huge in the UK (and big in other places, and a moderate hit in the US). But it wasn't until it went viral on TikTok a couple years ago, that it finally got the attention it deserves. Now it's almost as big (on streams) as Promiscuous (which was a monster on its own, mostly thanks to being so massive in the US, even if in Europe it wasn't "as big"). Maneater is just THAT good. And I'm happy about this new album. It has bangers as well. Hopefully some of the songs will go viral on TikTok. Or Waiting For The Night, which is an incredible song that deserved to be massive back when it was released.
