One of the most disturbing factors is blaming Jews in general. I think it's acceptable, even warranted, to direct anger at Netanyahu and his extreme right wing government, for what they're doing in Gaza, but to equate all Jews with the Israeli government is ignorant in the extreme. Are they unaware that every Saturday (I think it's Saturday in spite of its being the Sabbath) 200,000 Israeli citizens have poured out into the streets to protest Netanyahu's policies? Furthermore, they've been doing it every week for 18 months, right up until days before the Hamas attack.
It's also acceptable to speak out on behalf of the Palestinians in Gaza who are being killed indiscriminately, but to celebrate what Hamas did on October 7 is savage..
It's frightening to know there are young people living among us who are so filled with hatred and vicious racism. Who are these people? For one thing, their identity should be revealed, but more important, they should not only be expelled, but refused entry to any other university.
I am aware that there was at least one professor at NYU who either wrote or said incredibly anti-Semitic filth. There was another from Colombia. No doubt there are others who haven't made the news.

Let's get to I believe 50% of this hatred. How many Teachers are provoking this hatred? I am not by far slamming all Teachers, there are great ones out there. But there is no way that Everyone can't that see some of this hatred is stemming from College Teachers inserting their own beliefs upon students. This is not a teacher's job, yet parents don't seem to step in a correct this behavior. Then there are people who came to America with this hatred, any type of hatred towards people. Opinions are fine, but when anyone supports or encourages hatred, they have mental issues, and teachers, especially, should not be allowed to support let alone be employed to encourage such behavior. They should be fired! The media is not helping these issues either.

It's been pretty much 100 years of trying to displace the people of the land to form a Jewish majority state.
Showing up in a foreign land, displacing or killing the locals so that you can be the majority and feel safe hasn't gone to plan. Half the population is still native to the land and will mostly likely increase to be the majority again.

But Just as Hamas does not represent all Palestinians, the actions of the Israeli government does not represent the sentiment of all or even most of the Israeli people. As for reparations… there is nothing that can undo the damage of the past.
