Some great tips here from Collin Morikawa! Let us know, what are you most excited about putting into practise?👀and if you enjoyed this video, just a quick reminder to subscribe to the channel if you are not already, for more videos to transform your game🙌🏌🏻♂
They had Colin mic'd up at Riviera on Saturday whilst playing a hole, talking to the commentators through each shot. Very cool and love the way he talks about the game!
After going out on the golf course for the first time in 14 years and going through a bad accident to having to learn to walk and re-learn my entire golf game+swing i went out on the golf course last Sunday after many hours watching this channel and practicing ALOT... I shot a 88 also sunk one from about 30-40 yards in the rough for birdie on a par3 with my new Callaway jaws 56 10s..... Not going to lie it was a pretty awesome feeling. Slowly getting back to enjoying myself and feeling confident on the course+with a club in my hand. Owe alot to this channel and all the practice i put in before hitting the course. Thanks for taking the time to make such awesome videos!
thank you collin! first couple minutes in i learned to use your imagination on the range. imagine certain courses and little gaps you gotta hit or bunkers you have to avoid! awesome i love the opportunity to pick a professionals mind from these videos . thank you me and my golf !
This really confirmed things for me. I watched his swing in slow motion and learned a lot. His take away, club face, wrists, head position, follow thru are perfection. How he fades and does draw confirmed what I've learned and practiced. Keep bringing Colin back.
This is why I like Colin Morikawa. He is a consistent player. I have a slower backswing now as well. I have better control of the club head. And I hit more fairways as well.
Big fan of the channel and Colin is an amazing interview/guest. Look forward to similar videos with other pros and certainly to the next time Colin is on!
You guys always have fun. Collin has great advice. I'm really at a crossroads with my driving. I've had a lesson recently and we worked on my back swing and down swing. My grip was also changed. It's hard to replicate these things on the golf course and even harder to train your brain with these new swing thoughts. I tend to over think and have too many swing thoughts even on the practice range so what Collin is saying in the video is something that I will try next time.
Nice work boys! The graphics were kinda' cool -- helped to drive home some points! Kudos for not over using it though. Hat's off to Collin for his enthusiasm and participation. I am becoming an even bigger fan of his as time goes on and his humility becomes more evident. Thanks for the video!
Great video guys. I'm such a big fan of Collin. I love love LOVE his slow takeaway, which I'm incorporating into my swing. I have an annoying twitch in my swing if I take it away quickly. Never mind he just seems like the nicest dude. Awesome stuff!
great video, Colin's Tempo is certainly nice to watch. However, after watching this video, now I know why my golf is so erratic. On my backswing a voice in my head shouts out, 'high fade, out of bounds', and sure enough I do exactly what was instructed.
Another great video Andy and Piers and Collin's such a nice guy. Loved his slow tempo o the backswing and my last thought, before pulling the trigger on my driver, is to pull my right shoulder back a little, which helps me hit either straight, or a draw. Thanks again guys for the great content.
I read a good book, can't remember the title now, about sports and visualization. I think he does that, sees the shot in his mind first, as most pro players I assume do.
Hey guys! Love the video and great tips from Collin! I was wondering what lav microphones do you use? I've been looking for a good one for a while now.
Collin is awesome from tee to green💪💥 however, where he is lacking is putting sorry to say! Don't get me wrong he's a great guy with a great personality! Wishing nothing but the best for Collin!🤑⛳
When the “club face is at the target” do you mean you have the club face aiming at the start line, such as the bridge for the fade shot? Or is the target the trees where you want the shot to end up?
I just bought my first "AAA" driver. Oh. My. God. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A QUALITY DRIVER MAKES (compared to cheap titanium drivers.) It wasn't the distance that impressed me either, 12-15 additional yards is cool and everything, but it was the INSANE INSANE INSANE FORGIVENESS.
He's got one of the best swings. His tempo is perfect. Only one swing beats it for me personally and thats Max Homa's. His tempo, takeaway, downswing...its just really kind of tempo. I don't care how far it goes as long as it goes where i'm wanting.
Thanks guys. I'm always interested in the so called science which claims the faster your backswing the farther you can drive it. Maybe that's true but I stick to my medium paced backswing.
I'm 67 years young, 13 handicap, and I've been trying to copy Collin's swing for a long time but I can't hit it as long as he does 😥😥😂 I might need to pick up another sport 😆
Biggest thing for me watching this is… Swing your swing. If you hit a fade, hit a fade. We so often get sucked in to thinking we need to hit so many different shapes but if you hit a fade, hit the fade.
You guys have great content but the illustration at 7:02 is not helpful. Using the same setup photo and drawing a line isn't illustrating what you want it to.

Just been to the range and watched this as I hit. The slow back swing tip transformed my drives. Hit my longest drive at 297!! Thank you guys!!
So that was the 2K25 Golf Range, how did you go in the real world bro?
They had Colin mic'd up at Riviera on Saturday whilst playing a hole, talking to the commentators through each shot. Very cool and love the way he talks about the game!
Yes he talks very well doesn't he!

Colin is one of my favorite golfers to follow on the tour. Anytime you can get him for other videos is great!
Yes he's great Chris. Love how simple he keeps it too. Golf is complicated enough.
Honestly, Morikawas' tempo/slower backswing is the picture when I play my iron shots. It is such a great action

Glad this was useful for you. Love Collin's approach to this.
Fade into the woods....Hasnt won a tourney in 2 years.
@@giomusah2155, uh…while it was true, Morikawa has posted a victory in 2023.
This was great! Collin's easy-going "friendly" responses were very helpful. Thanks!

Big fan of the channel and Colin is an amazing interview/guest. Look forward to similar videos with other pros and certainly to the next time Colin is on!
Thanks Eric. We love "picking the brains" of the best golfers. They always keep it very simple!
Collin is such a class act. he will forever be one of my favourites

Hi Sue. Yes it can certainly be tough. Sometimes we need some simple things on course to focus on where on the range we can think a little more.
awesome video, Collin is my favorite player to watch. Great to hear his swing thoughts.
Great fun! Loved it! Good Tempo…..that’s the takeaway…..thanks guys!😊
My favorite player to watch! Great video
Happy to see yall back in matching outfits again

Gotta love Collin morikawa
He's so good!
Was waiting for this year's TM videos guys !
Really good video guys , exactly what i would have wanted to ask had i been stood there 👍
Great advice from Colin
Enjoyed it totally, thanks guys
Thanks Ahzam. Glad you enjoyed the video.

of all the pga pros i have seen in interviews. collin seem like the one i most would like to have a beer with..seams to be a really good guy
He is Mike. Great to chat to and even better to watch.
Morikawa has a great philosophy in the golf swing
Another great video guys , love the concept of keeping it simple and really trying to bring it into my own game ore
Some really great advice!

Awesome striker of the ball 👏 👌 well done guys 🏌♀️ 🙂 👍
Great video. One of my favorite golfers. You guys are pretty good to.
Thanks Gary.👍🏻😃
These tips seem really useful for someone who can regularly...you know...hit the ball. So I will bookmark this for later :)
A nice temp is about 3 secs, try counting 1/2 on the back swing and 3ish or a bit later hit the ball. 1/2-3!
Great video lads!
Thanks Damian.
@@meandmygolf. Pleasure. You guys have the best job in the world!
External focus, feels great when you can do that consistently, when you know how to control ball flight. Thanks !
Totally agree. If only we could do it more Chris😂. Hope you enjoyed it
Loving it 😀
Love Collin’s tempo and swing. Good tips here for shot shaping. Now to practice practice practice.
👍🏻🏌🏻♂️

Great golfer that seems like an even better person!
Hey guys! Love the video and great tips from Collin! I was wondering what lav microphones do you use? I've been looking for a good one for a while now.
Hi Ryker. Glad you enjoyed it. We use Senheiser mic's
What a great sport Collin is
Yes top guy Geoff. Hope you enjoyed it.
Collin is awesome from tee to green💪💥 however, where he is lacking is putting sorry to say! Don't get me wrong he's a great guy with a great personality! Wishing nothing but the best for Collin!🤑⛳
How are you supposed to shape the ball flight in the backswing when Colin said it's all in how he sets up to the ball with body alignment.
Thanks

He’s saying where the ball wants to end up. Although this isn’t where impact would be. It’s just a framework he uses to keep it simple.
I just bought my first "AAA" driver.

Yes very similar Stu! Both amazing tempos and good guys! Hope all is good.
Probably some of the best tips out there. Tempo is HUGE. That’s where you get your consistency
Glad you enjoyed this Josh.
it would be better is tempo was given some context, I try to do a 3sec swing, half of it back swing and half down.
Nice guy.
Top bloke
This guy’s gonna win a major one day 🏆
He's won the Open
@@milkman_dan I was kidding

Was this edited by a man on a stormy sea? It’s all over the shop with the cuts.

It's hard taking in the info. Random zooms, sporadic camera angle shifts, too much going on visually, it's not an action movie

If Colin could putt, he would have at least 5-6 more wins!
That intro with the cuts was choppy
He voice sounds like Tiger
what a shame your cameraman didn't capture his full hit.
Tempo swing thought = Fre…dee…couples.
Never heard of him .
I really love Collin... the way he thrusts into it mmmm

Collin MORIKCHOKA....Why don't u feature a golfer that don't miss cuts
2 time major champ. Seems pretty good to me.
Changing camera views every 5-10 seconds was starting to hurt my eyes... Maybe less editing there. Great video otherwise.
