Paint with Me! Real-Time Galaxy Painting in Acrylics

Paint with me! In this video I demonstrate how I painted a galaxy/night sky using acrylic paints. I used a gessoed board to paint on, but you could also use a smooth canvas!
Supplies used:
*Blick Artist Panel
*Liquitex Basics paints:
- Alizarin crimson
- Quinacradone violet
- Ultramarine blue
- Dioxazine purple
- Deep violet
- Ivory Black
*Grumbacher Academy Prussian Blue
*Winsor & Newton Galeria Mixing White
*Liquitex Glazing Medium
*Spray bottle (I used Delta Artist Ultra Fine Mist Sprayer)
*Synthetic paintbrushes
*Synthetic mop brush

It is better not to let the paint dry, since it will be tougher to soften as it dries :)

@@RahulSharma-rv2mb So when you say keep the paint dry when using the mop brush, do you mean just for applying the paint, then after applied then you add more water through spray, then blend the paint back into the background?

Thanks! The big fluffy brushes you see me using are called mop brushes. They are similar in shape/size to makeup brushes.

I thought you should know that it's not "Real-Time", is you are speeding up the video. I like your painting but That mislabeling of the video really detracts from it. I was so annoyed that I couldn't really focus on the actual painting much.

Thanks but it's not sped up at all, this is the speed i paint with acrylics because they dry so fast. My other videos are sped up, you can see the difference.

@@MelissaMancusoArt then I apologize. It's just such fast painting with your brush strokes, that it looks like it's sped up ×1.5 and the lack of sound throughout is something that would happen if it were sped up.
I do like the fact that your music is very soft. Other people's videos have such loud music tht is repetitive and it gets very tedious after a while.
Once again, sorry for the mistake.
