I was NOT expecting this. ESSOS? God, with the new dlc coming this year announced recently, and now this, I'm just so happy for CK3.

My one biggest gripe about CK3 AGOT vs CK2 AGOT was the lack of Essos tbh, so now that it is here I am utterly thrilled

I want to see more of the Blackfyre rebellions
Few things. If you want to execute whole house (let’s say Lannister) you have to push all three buttons (traitor, family and house). Also you’ve got Essos conquering events after you become the king cause you kinda intended to conquer everything in Essos first (my head cannon order is Tyrosh, Lys, Myr, Pentos, Stepstones and then claim iron throne) and after that you and other ninepenny kings grab the land, Maelys gets the iron throne (obviously), bad apple gets the reach, some guy gets the dragon stone, other six guys get themselves pentos, myr, tyrosh, lys, stepstones and disputed lands (the original blackfyre host lands). Or you can just fuck them all over and give them nothing. Also I tried to sacrifice Maelys’ son but you just kill your son and get debuffs
Good explanation. And yeah I def wanted to keep my son for the alliances and not bone myself for no reason

22:03 House Reyne and Tarbeck rebelled against you because you held the title of the westerlands and they are scripted to rebel against it.
If Tytos was still Lord you could have supported the Reynes and Tarbecks.

CK3 Realms in Exile (Lord of the Rings) will have a Balrog struggle soon, so there's that (with the Dwarves coming in clutch).
I couldnt tell if Essos was AGOT itself or one of my submods, lol. I went straight to house Reyne. Would be a lovely playthrough, keeping the West strong with unflooded Castamere.

when Tytos died it started the Reyne/Tarbeck rebellion event that was destined for someone playing as Tywin I think, that's why they rebelled. A bit silly because I was thinking "oh hey you could put the Reynes in charge!" but that would have caused the whole Westerlands to rise up against you I think, I'm sure they'll patch that the team is very quick with bugfixing
I'm sure the *checks notes* people with the peacock will do a great job

Dope! I have a request my brotha. Do a grand strategy where you start off in CK3 (whichever start date) play to the end date, then use the CK3 to EU4 converter and play EU4 to the end date. I just did that with CK3 to EU4 to Vic3 to HOI4. Shit was epic...

@@Soul_Tomatoit was, but I had a lot of fun and played the paradox games I usually don't give much of a try. Ended up loving EU4.. I started in CK3 as a created character as the duke of Aragon. In EU4 I reversed PU'd Castille, integrated them and became Spain..

I started at the Lonely Light (furthest west territory, little Iron Island) with a custom ruler as if my family was in A Song of Ice and Fire and almost right away I was granted a claim on the Kingdom of the Blackfyre host in Essos completely at random and was like whaaat no way lol I don’t even have 1000 men I can rally at the beginning but I guess I’m a halfway decent match because my betrothed is a Tyrell and I’ve used my alliance with them to wage a war on the Blackfyres in an attempt to forge my own realm early on even if it wasn’t taking the Iron Islands little by like first
I intend my dynasty to have a massive effect on the realm, I intend to create a new religion when I can and sweep across the world in a conquest that would make Aegon seem mild and ensure that Planetos never forgets my House lol

I think it’s by the camera pan setting. Basically not to let the camera reset. Then you just zoom in with the mouse wheel and slide or move the camera down by holding down the right mouse button and pulling

THEY ADDED ESSOS? MYGOD! I said i wouldnt play until they expanded the map..didnt expect to play this mod again this year. Maybe i can still hold on until unlanded dlc...no, compatibility will probably take all year. I can at least hold out until reapers due 2 😅

In war aftermath, you should select several actions to one character.
When you select only to execute their house/family - you leave the main guy alive
Also you can select as many actions as you want - take land, artefacts, send to the wall all at once

this is sorta random but I’ve been trying to get this mod to work for so long, it just crashes every time. I made sure there were no mods that were interfering, and I even uninstalled ck3 and yet nothing works
Hmmm how are you downloading it? Also you say no mods interfering but with this new update I’d err closer to no extra mods
@@Soul_Tomato so I’ve been downloading the game and mod thru the steam workshop, I didn’t realize that I should be playing with no mods, I’ve just been disabling the mods that the launcher flags as incompatible
best bet is to use AGOT specific submods if you wanna use some.

Nah bro, I checked the map under the clouds a few weeks ago, and they hadn't even finished the disputed lands, then they do the dev diary, and in like 1 weekend, they've cooked everything up.
They deliberately a lot of the previous dev diaries, all those are all posted in the Discord now.

@@Soul_Tomato It's like the weelend before release, they get everyone together in a few locations, lock themselves in, sniff coke, and get to cracking 40 hours worth of weekly work in only 2/3 days
I think this War of the Ninepenny Kings is the first thing that's better than it is in the CK2 version of the mod. It's nice to see some progress in this game, even if it is coming from modders.
