I have a Lok-Bolt in all of my markers. I would definitely consider it a must-have. That said, I have an interesting issue unique to my T15 Lok-Bolt. If a roundball doesn't feed properly, the lock will engage, and I just have to recock and then the misfed round feeds and everything works like it should. BUT, if I empty a mag and reload another roundball mag BEFORE recocking, it'll send 5 or six balls down the barrel. It's like there's enough clearance to slip a few past it. Really weird. Works fine with FSR though. So, definitely remember to recock before reloading.
Look great and thanks for the video. I would love to see it tested with FSR's rounds where chopping and flipping of the rounds is very prelevant. So please a video on the lok bolt with FSR's!
I might get one of these, although then again dry firing has saved my butt more than once because I pretend that I've still got ammo before I go to reload, but honestly, this is still a cool product, and I think this could be really cool. :) Edit: I just bought one in autococker threading last night (03/04/23), and I'm curious to see how it'll do! I haven't had THAT many chops with my T-15, even with really bad paint (the T-15 is quite reliable and I love it), but even then, an upgrade is an upgrade. Hopefully it works out well, especially in full auto! Edit 2: It works very well! I have not had a SINGLE round chop with this thing, and that's nuts. The one downside to it is that you DO have to recock your marker after you empty a mag and reload, although then again, with that adds even MORE realism to the T-15, and with it's charging handle, you feel badass while doing it, so it's not a huge negative for me. :3
I was waiting on this video! 🔥 Top tier product! I’ve had at least a hundred “would be” chops, and ZERO magwell cleans since I got it. Very much a must have for any T15 (especially with roundball), plus adds immersion to your marker when in gun fights. 😅
Hey TooTall! I used to run a lock bolt with my hurricane and 468 and now that I run a T15 I was really missing it. I got mine and tested it for the first time last week end. I never rely on my first day test for paintball stuff so I am still in a testing phase but...... That first test wasn't that good actually. I was double, even triple feeding. It might be the ball that were too small. Or the detents that came with the lock ball that was defective. It can happen. But they don't seems to be....Or maybe my mags that are too new? I am not really sure and need further testing. But apart from that, Ooooooh yeah! Lock bolt, I love it! I remember this summer in PRZ dryfiring and because of the echo inside the corridor I wasn't able to hear any difference and continued dryfiring. That kind of situation's over!
This actually sounds kinda cool. I wish I could use my T15 barrel with it. But also I haven't used my T15 on the field because I play at a walk on field (mostly hoppers used there) and my T15 is a pain in the butt with the magazines. Like no matter what I tried the magazines don't want to lock into the marker. I tried the light sanding on the area where the mag release should catch on the magazines and I have tried with both the stock mag release and a ambidextrous mag release (I think it always was happening with the stock mag release but got worse with the ambidextrous one and barely works now on the stock mag release). The only thing I worry about with lok bolts is they might damage the bolt since the bolt has to hit a hard object to stop and they were never made for that function (to my knowledge).
Either tighten the mag release, or make sure you hear the click on the T-15 by pushing the mag in twice. I normally do this and have not run into any feeding issues.
Heeeey, huge fan from years now, you helped long ago buy my first marker about 6 years ago, jsut before the TMC came out... and the money pit started haha I think a lot of people would love if you did A/B/C/D test of round-ball and FS in both Smooth Barrel and Rifled barrel, just to see the difference, how much and if rifled barrels actually help or worsen accuracy, maybe even a tight bore barrel like a Freak insert vs a rifled barrel, the obviously gonna perform better in their strengths, but like, How much better? is it worth it?
I’ve needed this forever, played with a t15 for many years and haven’t ever made my own lock bolt but always wanted too. Hard to pay 100 for it though and have to buy a new barrel! Basically another 200 just to set this up with my marker :(
Look into a CP a5 threaded barrel. They're only $30, very lightweight and way more accurate for roundball than the price might lead you to believe. They should cost like $55-$60...
There are some problems. One you cannot use cheap paint especially on a hot day. What will happen is if a ball breaks that hot sticky paint can make that tab stick upwards and make the device fail. One of the reasons why I switched from a 468 PTR to a T 15 is because of the Lock-bolt. I can’t count how many times I had pulled up on somebody within 10 feet had the shot, and when I went to pull the trigger, it just goes click and I can’t fire through it. It probably would work better with first strike rounds, but with paintball if that ball is not all the way up that bolt will not fire and you get lots of opportunities where you missed out on getting people out. But honestly at the end of the day, the T 15’s a great marker and I’ve had no problems with it and the mags have literally been flawless.
@@ToyMaestro They actually still have one, and they also happen to have the AWESOME buffer tube adapter that has also recently been discontinued (I got one a few months ago on Valken, but they aren't available there anymore), so if you want either of them, buy them immediately!
@@jasonrider6349 People think that the EMF-100 is the end-all be-all of magfed rifles, but it isn't. My T-15 has been kicking butt ever since I got it! Really the only difficult thing I've had to experience with it is getting the full auto trigger kit to work as I'd like.

Yeah i just purchased it. I can't wait. I was hoping that mchaos would make 1 for my m17 cause that thing chops balls like a lumberjack.

double, triple, quadruple feed at every recock.... Only way to make it work properly was to custumise the ball stops to make them strongers
Just the fact that it takes different barrel options is already a plus

I mean paintballs would be so unreliable anyway. It would save such a mess from happening.
