how can you not like this guy lol he was smiling during the whole video while running. He looked genuinely happy about running and even talking about running. I started running a couple of days ago on treadmill, but this makes me wanna run outside.
my favorite thing about running everyday is that when i enter the run i may be in the worst mood . but after i always feel better after i talk to myself and see how strong i am !
Ive ran everyday this year so far! Ive gotten my 5k down to 18:07 and I am trying by the end of this quarantine to get it down to 16 mins if possible! Im a footballer and the thing I most love about running is that it improves my stamina dramatically and Im able to last a full 90 mins on the pitch! Cheers Hellah!
Great video, Hellah! I’ve been running for the last 3 years 2-3 times a week and mostly when the weather was sunny :) I managed to run half-marathon last year with the time 2:02. I must tell that at some point I realized that I couldn’t answer the question: Why I was running? Why do I need this? But one day I watched one of your videos and you inspired me to make running a part of my daily routine. It is started to be so simple and obvious that running is very natural to human beings! That's it! By the way, guys, if you are struggling to make running your daily habit - you can think of it as brushing your teeth every day. When I started to think about it this way - it was so much easier to go and do the job especially when you have soar legs or bad mood.
I mainly run for the energy and mood boost that lasts for 2 days, along with the better memory and increase in my motivation. Also, more presence in what I'm doing, stronger looking legs, better sleep that night, I can eat more food, long runs can be meditative, I feel better about myself because I accomplished something, and I don't get tired as quickly when doing other activities. It's one of the best things I've added to my life.
I started following your channel and it’s been one of the best things I could have done. After running track in college, I hadn’t ran consistently since then after graduating. I’ve decided to begin running everyday for a year like you. Began that journey yesterday. Thanks for the inspiration!
As you stated the health benefits mentally & physically..... Endurance is amazing...keep running I found that spraying vinegar mixed with water eliminates that post wash smell...love all
Great stuff bro! I just finished running everyday for a year! What a long but inspirational year I’ve had. Really cool you’re sticking with it but I’m taking a few days off to start training for a sub 3 marathon. I wasn’t going for mileage but ended up getting 1,035 miles. My last 10 days I ran 10 miles a day. A challenge in a challenge! Good vibes bro keep em coming 🤙🏽
Bart Lueb for me personally I think an off day every now and then would help with recovery. But once I set out to complete the challenge I couldn’t stop, I think it changed my mindset for getting after it everyday though so I recommend that or something similar to that type of challenge. Really makes you dedicated!
Thanks for sharing your perspective Hellah! I run most days but sometimes I take days off when I fear I am overtraining. And that’s the biggest con for me, I don’t want to overdo it and hurt my body when I’m trying to help my body. I just gotta keep a balance. Keep up the great videos !
I’ve become committed to running one mile every day. I time every mile and try to decrease the time every time. It started at 8:29 and yesterday I hit 7:41 I know this may seem slow but it’s increasing pretty quick. My goal is to get under 6 minutes (my pb is 6:39 but it was on a treadmill)
Running is the cheapest antidepressant and the best calming tea for me. I’ve always got pent up energy, and weight lifting was fun and great for me for a while… but when I quit smoking and picked up running everyday, it clicked with me. I felt free in a new sense and completely stopped a lot of unhealthy habits just because they interfered with my regular run.
Absolutely correct. Rest days are paramount to optimal performance and maintaining mental resolve as you gain fitness. Many elite runners take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month of break with absolutely NO running after their seasons. It’s very critical. But that’s not to take away from the achievement of other people. Making a habit out of running is very important and entirely different from treating it as a career. But for anyone who wants to improve, it is advised to not run everyday for so long-it’s quite damaging in the long run.
YES! Laundry haha. I literally do laundry every single day. Definitely don't want your clothes to soak too long in the sweat cause it leaves a terrible stench even after you wash it!
I love your content bro! I run xc for my high school and watch a lot of running videos. Can’t believe i just recently found your channel, but it has quickly become my favorite!! Keep up the great vids 👍
I am 57 years young, and are up to day 35 in my running streak, aiming for 365 days first off, have lost 4.5kgs so far in weight , and set PB's for 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10kms - onward and upward
Truly are my inspiration bro. I haven’t ran everyday for 3 years consistently, but, last year I ran every day for a total of 3 months & this year I’ve ran everyday so far. Minimum of 5km a day maximum of 10 miles a day.
I think , the biggest thing kept him going is youtube channel and he can share everything with us and we push him. Telling that I think its healthy but when you are rly young , but when you get older like in mid 40s and older you can only pray to God your bones are not used from all that running etc.. Guy just keep going and you gonna smash every goal of yours 💪
I agree my favorite thing I'd the health benefits of running. It has helped me lose weight and it definitely helps elevated my mood and keep me from being depressed especially during these times. My biggest negative is finding SAFE places to run. Many areas I don't feel safe running especially in neighborhoods around a lot of people.
Hey hellah and fellow runners, just started running last week, my first 5k was 26:00 minutes, then the second was ardound 24, in my third i pushed real hard and got 18:50, gotta keep going. I'm 22 by the way hope i can improve and one day reach the sub 15 5k training to win my first 10k in 25th of april 2021.Your content is really good i appreaciate it keep going you inspire a lot of people :D
It’s definitely achievable. I’ve never been very good at this kinda stuff because of my low energy and bad breathing habits so I tend to stay away from running and swimming
@@aprilracine Vitamin D is not the solution for every modern problem dude. I find this comment in basically every video about sports or nutrition. Vitamin D is only important for bone structure, shin splints DON'T affect the bone but the periost, the skin around the bone. Nothing to do with Vitamin D
One of the best things about running are the soundtracks I use. Every pay day, I buy an average of 2 albums. Listening to the new music (of vast variety) adds variance and nuance to being out there. It's like creating a photo album for your mind. The memories of seasons and distances and circumstances and goals are punctuated by the sounds. I just absolutely love it.
Im currently on day 27 before i would run to loseweight than id stop or i would run for a certain amount of time on a certain speed....until i watched one of ur videos awhile ago i decided i dont care anymlre im making a goal to run everyday for a whole year because i know its good for me and as long as i get up an do it even if jts a simple 5- 10minutes i feel much better thank u so much for this it has honestly changed my perspective on running completely
Absolutely love your energy and enthusiasm!!! I enjoy running because it boosts my mood too and the fresh air feels amazing. Your video makes me want to run every morning now haha 😄
I am on day 6 today, so far I did 27 miles in 5 days. I took 2 months off and I am back on it. The most I ran is 14 miles in one session. You said exactly how I feel about running surprise, acomplished, happy it just feels great!!
Likes 1. That fantastic feeling when it all comes together and you feel like you're running on air. 2. General health benefits, especially rarely getting colds or flu and recovering very fast when I do. 3. Low cost. 4. Weight control. I like being lean but I want to enjoy a good (healthy) food and a normal diet. Running every day let's me do that. 5. Running every day makes other activities like distance hiking easy so walking all day on vacation is no problem. Dislikes 1. Dogs off the leash and owners who blame you and shout at you when their out of control dog chases/bites you. 2. Microfibres escaping from my running clothes into the environment when I do laundry (solved by switching to cheap ripped cotton vests Dave Goggins style). 3. Injuries. The older you get the longer they take to heal. 4. Cold feet and hands in the winter. 5. Getting dog poop stuck in the cleats of your running shoes at the start of a long run and having to smell it for 10 miles.
Your so inspirational man running and your diet has made me change my ways. I now run everyday and am turning into a vegan. Also what watch do you use man. Keep up the good work
Hellah, that is a great list! I can relate to trying keeping daily running route interesting. It is indeed a challenge. There aren't many places locally that I haven't covered more a *few* times since 1992.
I’m on day 437 of my streak and I’ve got to say - if you’re a lazy runner, streaking really helps🤣 I’ve improved all my PR times because streaking has made me so much more consistent in mileage!
Injury and overused injury killed me, I was on a good streak (daily for +-2.5months) and all of a sudden my knee just said hell no and left haha.. took me 2 months to recover but I didn’t exercises during that period + started smoking. Stopped 3 days ago and started running again today
Wow, 7 Miles at 08:41 per mile pace.. My highest distance has been only 5 miles at 10:06 pace.. Long way to go.. Great video👍.. This pumped me up for my next run
Ours inspirator upload a new video let's goo, guys go forward no matter what, do what you wanna to do and keep going, just do it, step by step but most importantly do that.
I run since March 2016 almost daily. Just saw endomondo challenge You VS The Year where you have to complete 1000 km in a year and trying to keep it since then. Maybe in 2018 I did around 941 km, because off misusing the website and considering runs, walks and cyclings as only runs. Feeling good, the only thing negative is to have a runner’s knee with time, but so far it’s good. And of course if you are in a climate of extreme heat 🥵 where I am right now running is not so enjoyable. On the other hand you plan more, you achieve more especially such milestones as 1000 km in a year and you feel better. I tried 10 km officially in my hometown back in 2018 and the result was 43:53. It was amazing.
The course I run on is 1 kilometer. 11.26 kilometers is 7 miles. I run 11k in 50:28 and my pace by that time is 5 per kilometer, so 11.25 K would be +1:15, so 51:43. Great job on your running always try to improve. I am trying to beat the guy who runs 9.25K in 38:44. My best time for that distance is 41:59. I Started running 5-23-20 and now I run everyday, even if it's just 1 mile. I feel great afterward.
I run but not every day! 1200 miles and counting this year! Everything depends on how I’m feeling that day and I just go no planning! Average 3-8 miles and 1 half marathon each month!
Hi Hellah, thanks for sharing, definitely a good insight i can relate too (started my year of running on 1st Dec). Quick one: any tips on how you deal with blisters? Cheers from Australia!
I just ran 7 days in a row :) I feel great. Can't wait for tomorrow to run again and start week #2 of running every day! I used to run twice or three times a week.. 5k-10k each run, but my knees would start hurting. I had a torn meniscus a year ago. I started doing more exercises to strengthen my knees and legs in general and implemented some of your recovery routines every day. I only run around 3k each run, but it's every day and my knees feel great. I will gradually increase the distance until I can run 10k every day. I get the best 'high' after running around 10k and I really want to feel that every day.
Hey Hellah, I was wondering how to do "easy" runs properly. Should you be running every mile comfortably at a conversation speed? I'm not sure how fast to go on these easy runs because I know it's important to not go all out all the time. I would really appreciate your input, and keep it up!
If u want somewhere to run then just drive out maybe 30 minutes, do an out and back and then go back. Of course make sure the place is safe and the landscape is good to run in
I've been running everyday since yesterday
Me too and it’s exhausting
Same lol

Great job on your running always try to improve. I am trying to beat the guy who runs 9.25K in 38:44. My best time for that distance is 41:59. I Started running 5-23-20 and now I run everyday, even if it's just 1 mile. I feel great afterward.
I run but not every day! 1200 miles and counting this year! Everything depends on how I’m feeling that day and I just go no planning! Average 3-8 miles and 1 half marathon each month!
Nice editing and concept on this one.
I needed the motivation today. Today is supposed to be day 140 but it is cold and I don't want go outside
You got this!!! Proud of you
Hi Hellah, thanks for sharing, definitely a good insight i can relate too (started my year of running on 1st Dec). Quick one: any tips on how you deal with blisters? Cheers from Australia!
Love ya man!
Nice job man!

Eres el puto amo tío
Buen vídeo !
Watching HellahGood videos is great bood mooster.
Hey Hellah,
I was wondering how to do "easy" runs properly. Should you be running every mile comfortably at a conversation speed? I'm not sure how fast to go on these easy runs because I know it's important to not go all out all the time. I would really appreciate your input, and keep it up!
dan goldman read the book "80/20 running" by Matt Fitzgerald. It outlines different heart rate zones for different types of runs/workouts.
Like the content Thanks...keep at it , can you post something about running injuries like plantar fasciitis and how you deal with them??

Sprinting is the key for big muscles

I like this dude. Dude, I like ya.
Hey can you make a video on you’re stretching/warmup routine before a run please??
If u want somewhere to run then just drive out maybe 30 minutes, do an out and back and then go back. Of course make sure the place is safe and the landscape is good to run in
