I'm not worried about the Skinders, we are way ahead of schedule and I believe that we have 5 to 6 very winnable games ahead. Remember that the plan is to "build" through the draft so it will take a year or two.
Too many fans forget that the Commanders didn't go into the season with giant expectations. Most predictions I saw had the team with 5-6 wins total for the season. Maybe 7 wins in the absolute best case scenario. Well in mid-November, we're already at 7. Two tough losses in a row, but they were against elite defenses on teams that are thinking Superbowl. And these two games were played in a span of five days. That's not ideal for any team. The Commanders are improved, but they're not ready to take on elite teams. And that's okay right now. The ribs are a question, but I'm not panicking yet. Same with the "Kingsbury's been figured out" thing. The Commanders put up 27 pts on that Steelers defense, that yesterday held the Ravens offense to 16 pts and held Derrick Henry to 65 yds rushing.
How are we "not ready to take on elite teams" when we lost to the Steelers by 1 point, with countless mental errors that cost us the game? We literally only lost to the Ravens by 7 as well. I'm so confused. We are ready... and we can beat the Falcons, and the Eagles at home.
As always thanks John and Nikki! BTW: Washington will be fine, just fine.... We're way ahead of schedule and should be in the playoff mix next month. Cheers!!
I don't worry about Coleman when I see other tackles that's real good getting manhandled. I saw the best RT in the league getting handled against the Texans. Both LT's from the Ravens and Chargers was getting bullied as well.
I think also that Jayden may hit the rookie wall. But he’s such a poised young man that he won’t make excuses. This time off will definitely help the offense get healthy some. We’re finish off the season strong. RaiseHell!
You guys talk as if the Commanders got crushed in their last two games. They had the lead with less than three minutes left in the Steelers game and lost by one point. And they led Philly for most of the game until the defense got gassed in the 4th quarter. If anything the Commanders are banged up and tired and badly in need of some rest. They have been at it since the preseason right up to week 11 of the regular season and still no bye week yet. I think 7-4 is more than what we expected.
Agreed! Saying they can’t play vs “the really good teams” is nuts! We had at least 5 dropped passes vs Pitt and the muffed punt. We win that game if it weren’t for those unforced errors. Offense was off vs Philly…way off. Haven’t seen it look that bad but we still competed for 3/4 of that game.
If they win the next two they're 9-4 and have a real shot at the playoffs. KK didn't call a great game. So now he has a chance to prove that defenses don't figure out his offense. I believe that they will get some rest and play better.
Let's be honest about a couple things The eagles really haven't beat any star-studded teams up to this point and look at their roster and we're not a good football team we have a great quarterback One good receiver and above average running game or defenses not good especially on the back end we're not going to be over 500 teams not this year I like what the staff is doing and how they're building it and what they're building Future is bright
The only thing I don't like what staff did was draft Luke McCafferty I think they could have gotten a better receiver at that pic I think they drafted the name not the player hoping I'm wrong but that's what I think
We’re 7-4, not a bad football team. We won 4 games last year… if you had expectations of turning the dumpster fire we were last season and the Snyder years then you must be a new football fan.
We beat a team over .500 the Cardinals. Who are leading the West who beat the Chargers over .500. Who beat the 49ers as well. They also had tough game with Lions and a good lead vs the Bills. We held the Eagles without a first half td. First time it's happened in years for them. Td's coming late in the forth. Could have gained lead again late in forth with a fg.We arguably should have defeated Steelers last week who just beat Super Bowl contender Baltimore. Who held their high powered offense in check. Washington may not be the most talented, but they are a good team
@@jamescarr112 and for all the shit people are talking about how great the Eagles are…let’s see their record AFTER they’ve played the Steelers and Ravens.
They are 7-4 played well enough to beat 2 super bowl contenders in Philly and Pitt. They can't win them all everybody just needs to take a deep breath and relax
Well said and if we do make the playoffs I’m only worried about Detroit they just blowing teams out and we can do the same stop playing conservative and just ball we will be fine

Awesome insight!
I don’t know what the rest of the season brings but the first half was a breath of fresh air!!!!
Thanks JK and Nicki.. Always great to see you both

WELCOME BACK NICKI!!!

Look at his draft class. Those first rounders aren’t killing it

I’m particularly keen on injury reports on oline. Protection broke down as game wore on.
Please remember that most of this roster haven't competed at this level of play for these many games in one season.
They need to heal for the final push for the second half of the season!!!
Commanders need a rest?!!
Cool listen..dont take the cowgirls and titans for granted.

Just wondering- any chance you two will join Lil Sammy Fo on the Blue Sky?
Hahaha, it's a bar, John, not a blade.

will marshon be good 2 go for cowboys game
That was a bad called game on the coaches
I'm extremely concerned.
We're good, just played a couple very good teams
About what?
If we make the playoffs I don't think we will go very far against all these strong NFC teams but maybe next year.

Yes! We are contender now! A couple of plays from having 2 less loses. 9-2

They played well enough to beat Pittsburgh but Philly pretty much dominated.
