    3:19 One could ascertain the actual FPS of a camera by running sample film through it and making a digital audio recording of the noise for several seconds.
    That recording can be examined in audio editing apps like (free) Audacity. The cycle of the camera mechanism will be visually obvious and the number of cycles per second can be counted.

    Isn't X-ray film generally a rather fragile emulsion as well- and maybe not the best for running at speed through a film gate? Kudos to you guys for bringing such a wide diversity of films to the double8 and double perf 16mm film worlds. I know it isn't easy! Thanks for feeding the crazies of the film world. Even if maybe it shouldn't be done, why not try it?!
