Wow I really needed to know how to down descend. It was very frustrating how I thought Basim needs to clim downwards. It totally slowed the movement for me. Espacilaly since the crouch and slide are the same inputs, instead of it being the dodge. It would make more sense, since the controls are like 1 input too many for controllers
Need an advice with Dive mechanic. Like should I only press P up once ? Or hold? What about sprint? Hold it or not? I’m now testing this and got some success with sprint plus parkour up. Also what is the input when I want basim to swing and go further, releasing the rope, to the ground instead of climbing on it? I know that holding parkour up causes Basim to swing but how to make him jump forward out of a single swing? Please help. I wanna git gud 😅 EDIT Ok, was trying and figure out that if you want to end the swing and go down instead of climbing the rope you need to turn analog up at the right time
For dive just tap it dont hold if you hold he will make jump but most important thing for dive is to see where you can do it. its not available on every rope. For swing, you cant swing if there is nothing in front of you or its very high, lets call that not safe jump so he will climb up. I hope they will make game with more depths with movement and parkour. There is also a mod for ejects www.nexusmods.com/assassinscreedmirage/mods/52 so get it and have fun 😄
Just picked the game up, having some fun experimenting with it but honestly, diagonal ejects being character relative and not camera relative really does limit the degrees of freedom on keyboard of where you can actually eject to while hanging. Which is a shame. That alone is making me consider trying a controller stick so I can emulate the freedom that existed in the classic games when it was camera relative

This is honestly great and I think some people really NEED to watch this because some people think this game is only climbing and no other tech.

Most people criticize it for not being Unity and they don't bother about the tech, which does exist. Baghdad was also an amazing choice for parkour.

A bit of question, but... does the camera have a factor to diving? It seems to me that Basim has to look down the rope before diving in my game.
I think it does but it's not consistent, i wish the game mechanics have more depth in future but for now thats is it how is it 👋
