Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

The HUD is bigger than the original Strike Eagle. I hope they fix it
If you mean the hue glass it's normal it's an expanded fov use by the lantirn nah pod (flir) for low level navigation ifr/night flying (the same kind of HUD can be observed on some F16) if you mean the actual HUD text then idk I never flew in a strike eagle sadly 😂
@@Warwolf_69 I meant the Head Up Display frame. It is a bit too big compared to the photos of the original cockpit. The photo can be found on the internet and compare the width of the HUD bezel with the gauges and switches below in the cockpit. The oversized HUD immediately caught my eye. Other than that, beautiful plane.

Imagine an enemy fighter being told they were going to intercept an enemy strike with no CAP in the area. Sounds easy enough. Then you're told "it's an F-15E" and then you think about what you have written in your will.
Legend has it that pilot who dropped a gbu on that hind never got the money is wingman bet him

Damn, I was not planing on getting it as I am not a bit fan of the need to operate an AI for the back seater. I also feel I have enough modules, but this one is looking really sick. Looks like Razbam has done a fantastic job
The ai is nonfunctional right now but you can do everything from the front seat in the F-15E anyway. I suggest that you should pick it up AFTER it comes out so you can see if it’s your cup of tea you can never have enough planes!
how many modules you have? Also theres no AI for the backseat. Dont know if it will come sometime in the future though
Yeah, I was holding off as I fly single player only and the lack of AI put me off. But then I saw a conversation stating that everything important can be done from the front seat and AI would be coming. I came down with a case of PAS (plane acquisition syndrome) and dropped the cash a week or two ago.

Ive seen F15Es land and they often fweet just before or on touchdown. Think its them cutting to idle, cant wait to hear that in sim.

@@TrickerDCS You do good work! Next time use the Nellis 'Duck' initial and check your line speeds - Black speed boards on RWW 21L 6=6000 speed not above 120kts , 5= not above 100kts, 4 not above 80kts...

and finaly a content creator realizes that you don't need to fight with the Ext tanks still attached or even bring them at all, :) all these viper pilots out here with fuel paranoia! :)
when you get a chance if you could go over the hud symbology for the A/A missile range Cues, it looks similar to the hornet and viper but with a lot more data points and i cant figure out what is what just by looking at it.
also @6:14 is that new sonic boom sounds? or a mod or bug? or added in post?

I hope servers such as gray flag make it so you have to use the CFT's on the Eagle.
the most interesting thing nobody has really shown yet i believe is the EW suit. Seeing as its not just a "simple" RWR like pretty much all the other modules have.

Coming from the f-16 where you don't really have to trim.. Do you have to trim the f-15 out manually on take off/landing?
Yah you gotta trim, there's no Fly by wire system, doesn't require too much though
