Your reviews are always so professional. I think you have the ratio of vinyl music reviews to product reviews right too, really we want to see you review music in vinyl form, but definitely a product now and then, and this product review was great. Thanks. I was impressed with this review. Peace and Love.
I am getting this just for the built in phono preamp, question... for use of the phono preamp, if the speaker is connected to my turnable by bluetooth, will the phono preamp work, or does it need to be wired to speakers for that to be functional, do you know?
It alway humours me that these "compact" speaker solutions keeps getting larger and looking more and more like regular speakers. Nothing against the kanto, just a trend I've been seeing. It's like a traditional speaker seems to be the optimum size and shape. Strange...
these are currently on sale for $200 and I want a speaker with quality sound for tv, vinyl, and just reg music playing. Any other speaker you would recommend at that price point or is this as good as it gets?
Hey Mr. Geek, I've always wanted to know if the area where you film are rooms in your house or a set you built. I love your channel keep up the great work.
Bancombe1 me too. It's a stylish room and I want to know if it all really exists in an actual room somewhere, that you actually go sit in. Or is it a set. Or is it both? Real but a set too
Hey Geek! I haven't been watching for long but the way you style your reviews and how you go into detail with them inspired me to start collecting. My grandpa noticed my interest in records and gave me all of his since he doesn't use them anyway. Thank for for your quality content! Here's my collection if you want to go over it, there are a good amount of albums that I had never heard of that I ended up loving! www.discogs.com/user/DarkSideOfTheWall/collection
Hey Geek, Other than the convenience of one piece vs two separate pieces did you like the YU4 or the SYD better? Did either one stand out as better for playing vinyl?Thank you!
The Kanto SYD is so much more than a speaker, its a whole audio system and our best pick for apartment living. See our SYD demo and let us know what you think! ruclips.net/video/JlXz5b1Fkbc/видео.html
No grill cloth? If I was going to spend that much money, it definitely would not be on this. (Granted, I haven't actually heard them.) BTW, was this review even based at all on how it sounds? You mentioned nothing on how it actually sounds.
I'm a pipe smoker!! What do you like to smoke? I like a good meth hit now and again but my go to choice will always be a fat rock. Us pipe smokers gotta stick together!!
I prefer REAL stereo sound! Don't like these one speaker deals they push on us! I like to hear the music produced in true hi fi stereo, like the artist intended! Just my opinion, maybe I was being a little harsh, but it's honest!
No one is pushing anything on anyone. You are free to purchase and enjoy whatever you like, just as everyone else. That said, music is almost always mastered for mono, stereo and headphone compatibility. "Like the artist intended" is an audiophile's romanticism. Few artists have meaningful influence on the mixing process and virtually no signed artist has any say at all in mastering.
Different use case now the player is your Mobile ARM SoC device. These single point speakers are for convenience in a non music listening space like Kitchen Dining area or Bed Room. Having to setup a proper stereo with speaks far apart is a difficult to move setup. A great stereo setup realy needs multiple meters of separation. Not something that can be easily done.
I watch your videos when I’m feeling down and they always help me out. Your positivity is a constantly source of energy for me!

It's like all nearfield monitors and good bookshelf speakers have the same dimensions... Hmmmmmm'st

Thank you vinyl rewind, very cool
You never mentioned one important thing..the sound...what is the sound like? Would it get the best out of my Rega Planar 3 turntable? thank you
Looks like a nice, compact speaker for ease of use. Love your review style!

Can you please do a album review on David Bowie's Hunky Dory album?

agreed! my concern is it sounds like one of those portable turntables that came in a suitcase...
Nice speakers ! just the company should give the choice of other colors, just few ones more.
cool!
Of course the EQ has no visual indication of the levels, this is sound, it's all about the ears guy, not the eyes.
are you a pipe smoker?
