I really love this program! It's easy to use, does weightpainting accurately AND it's easy to convert to a blender rig so WAY better than most other AI rigging software out there. Thanks guys! I did really struggle for the first few models with the midpoint placement though. I hadn't realised the option was there so it was kind of strange to have the points move in seemingly random directions constantly...
Cool tool. Here's something to note. Characters rigged with AccuRig after importing inside CC4 does not allow for attachment of external clothing items.
That's a pretty awesome tool. However I have a couple of questions. 1. Is it possible to have multiple different characters stored within your account? Currently every new upload replaces the existing character assigned with your profile. (and if so, can you rename the characters somewhere?) 2. My original character I've uploaded does have facial blendshapes however when I import the rigged character back into Blender they're all gone. Is there a way to keep the blendshapes or at least a workflow to transfer them back to the rigged character? (the transfer blendshapes command in Blender doesn't work as the vertex order and t pose are different from the originally uploaded mesh) 3. Do you plan to come up with something like the Mixamo control rig addon so that you can easily create a control rig for the rigged character? 4. Can you maybe provide a bone reference list for retargeting ActorCore animations to a Rigify rig? Thanks a lot!
When I click "Rig Body" the head and neck bones appear in their correct positions, but the others are scattered randomly about on the left-hand side? Why would that be?
I just tried accurig. Rigged a Mario character and exported it as iAvatar. But when I dragged it into iclone 7, it gave me error message. Is this rig only compatible with iclone 8 and not the previous versions of iclone?
Just curious, Is there any push in the industry as a whole to build a "muscular rig?" Skeletal rigs are great for basic movements and some complicated ones but it would make sense to create a muscular rigging system. I don't see that the interface would be that difficult to navigate. If you know insertion and origin points you could have premade musculature you could add/customize to get the realistic movement of tissue beneath your characters "skin."
Accurig is not reading the materials from the FBX file. When i open the same file in iClone then i can see it along with the material. The materials are baked in the FBX fiile
In accurig, the finger calibration, like when the character looks at the hands, I'm checking actor core and i can't find the motions. I take it the motions in accurig are not available for download?
Its neat but when I export my finished rigged character out of accurig, all the UVs are WIPED and destroyed. I tried clicking embed texture but same thing happens.
I cannot import my character or even Sample Characters. Everytime I tried to import it, AccuRig just does nothing and nothing happened with the software :(
Hi @baskomnasi, Please provide a video of the operation process along with the character to the Reallusion Feedback Tracker. Customer service will assist you as soon as possible. www.reallusion.com/feedbacktracker/
What do you mean automatic logging? I was thinking about buying an automatic logging tool, but thank you so much to RUclips for recommending this video at such a timely time, and thank you to Reallusion for introducing this video. Thank you.! Thank you.!
yes interesting but at the end of the video the blender import is not shown, and to carry out the "retargeting" in blender you have to use "auto-rig-pro" which is a paid addon which also allows you to rig same way your character. So I don't see the point of doing it twice???? and I couldn't find how to import my personal motioncapture. Indeed there is a good library of animation which are still paying for the most part! personally you can easily find free .bvh vouchers on the internet and I find it faster to use Rokoko for free retargeting or even mixamo where the import of the FBX is automatically "retargeted". but hey, I may not have understood everything in this merchant software/site, please explain to me if I'm wrong.
It looks that way although this seems to have more features for setting up the rig than mixamo. I especially like that you can set up the thumbs. Maximo has problem with the thumb direction sometimes. Good job Reallusion!!!!
also, just applying the joint points will not do so correclty, they wont line up, you move it in one view and they are off in the others, also the mirror line in the beginning, wow, it will line up in one view but not the others and when you move it in the others it is off again in the first one. Not good....
I only know how this works with blender bust basically when exporting a fbx on the right side you will see path mode change that to copy and click the icon next to it so that it is blue then export this should fix it however texture setups are different so what loads depends on a bunch of factors that I only just found out about lol like if you have many textures over many objects then only one object will load with texture so you have to put all the textures you are using on the model that loaded the textures its confusing.

@@reallusion No use. I checked the support form and followed the suggestion to try rigging the base mesh instead of the original model. However, the same issue occurred with the base model as well. Is there any other solution I could try to resolve this? I appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thank you!
@Aeddy Chau hmm i see, thank you for responding btw. Um i got another question if it's okay to ask. I recently used it to weight paint my character then i removed the skeleton from the body and renamed the vertex groups to math ue4 mannequin and after that I attached the skeleton of the ue4 mannequin to my character and exported it to unreal. But when I use it as a skin for the als mannequin, some stretching occurs by the neck and spine areas. Do you know how to fix that by chance like do i have to use the als skeleton instead of the ue4 skele for it to be fixed? Or is there something else that i must do to have my character look normal?
Looks a bit like Mixamo's auto-rigging. :-; If I export a character from AccuRig as an iAvatar, can I animated it in iClone just like any other regular CC character? What about facial morphs, visemes, etc.?
I'm positive you'll be able to animate it fine in iclone. I doubt that it will have a facial rig though. It looks like an automated version of their 3d xchange program.
Nope. Reallusion are one of the worst companies going. I have hundreds of dollars worth of software not in use because you are such a bad company. Your free software isn't worth it.
Finally. How long I've been waiting for this. You guys are the best!!!
This looks amazing! I know it's only just released, but I know if anyone can do it Reallusion can - Please add face rigging support to this.
Sweet. Thanks for the awesome free tool and great tutorials to go along with it. Another great push for the continuing usefulness of Reallusion :)
TNice tutorials is literally the best tutorial on RUclips. It's right to the point, and very informative at the sa ti. Thank you so much

Wow , Mixamo has some real competition now
obsessed with soft design now and more obsessed with cool scales Nd stuff.
I was soooo excited! Not for Mac. Excitement shattered!
Omg I'm so glad I randomly found this program. Game changer.
Nice tutorial.Thanks.
Thank you very much , now I will understand the functionality
Face rigging next please! When your program is able to of course :)
@Aeddy Chau hmm I thought that was only to move the neck around as well as the head, not an actual face rig.
Is this the new and improved Mixamo?? Noice!!
wow , this is amazing
how about face?? make any fbx talk and lipsync
They just got started on this... Let's see the next update... I'm very sure reallusion will include that since the software is meant for rigging
Character Creator 4 will help you. :)
Can you add a cat tail and bones to pose in high heels. And also, can you rig toe bones the same way you can rig the hand?
wow... can use iclone 7.9 ???
this looks good but there aren't any tutorials for beginners on the next step which is animating in ue5
Characters are not loading with textures when I bring them into Accurig..Whats the fix
Now I see why people normally model the character standing in A-pose
Awesome stuff! Is there a way to view the model in wireframe? That makes placing the joints so much easier.
So can this be used with characters with tails, extra arms, etc? I didn't see anything in the docs/general tutorials. That would be awesome if it did!
this is awesome! is this new please? never knew we had this feature?
How to export that motion to Blender when the animation doesnt start in T pose
This is great but can we get an option to not export with twist joints?
It doesn't work when I try to import the iAvatar exported from AccuRig into iClone7 or CC3, is it only available in iClone 8 and CC4?
@Aeddy Chau boooo :(
How to correctly import animation from accurig to Blender?
Mine freezes at 22% when placing finger joints

Is there a script to add controllers for key pose animation?
with the rig made by this program how do I make my own customized mocap?
agreed
When I did [Check animations] it failed to load

Very nice. Be cool if there was a 1click import of Mixamo animation library to ActorCore's rig or iclone even.
Can this be uploaded into Unreal Engine?
Just curious,

there is the great X Muscle addon for Blender, worth checking out, for starters.
Is anyone able to use this? It crashes on startup, it seems that the realillusion server is out....
Will there be facial rigging too?
crashes every time it tries to finalize character....

I haven't seen any which doesn't make sense to use this for serious animators

Hey can we use our already purchased ActoreCore animations inside of AccuRIG, and just import the animated rigs from Accu into Blender?
I can't even get my actorCore animation to work in the AccuRig app with my model.
Yep I get my bought anims without any skins and I have to go in and manually infuse my anims into the character I already rigged with accurig smh
If I export to a local FBX,.. is it compatible with the Blender pipeline tool for import??
Face rigging and i buy all your softwares

WOWWWWW
nice tool but would be cool if i could download directly the motion on my character/actor (like mixamo) and not the apply it myself later on
can a rig without a head becase i have a i rig.
I downloaded ActorCore AccuRIG, my account keeps showing offline, so the characters cannot be exported, what should I do?
