If TO was a trainer, I think he wiuld make millions. With the people he knows and the fact he is in incredible shape, i think more than a few people would overpay for private workouts.
I mean he has had a lot of time to think about it. Bc really as a man you should have control over your finances and should be very careful who you allow to have access to them. Bc idc who you are if you give someone full access to your money and no oversight you are a fool. Especially if you have a lot of money. You should never trust anyone that much. Especially most of these financial advisors and sports agents as they care about making themselves richer not necessarily their clients. Just bc someone where’s a suit and works in a nice office doesn’t make them trustworthy. Just bc they are nice to you and your family doesn’t make them trustworthy. Trust should be earned not given. It’s unfortunate that he had to learn this lesson this way but it’s something he should have known

I can't agree more. I'm the same, so discipline with my health, fitness and goals but when it comes to money iam so useless. I look at my bank statements and can't understand how I spend all this money
@@emmanuel_j612 Health is wealth brother, instead of trying to juggle everything at once. Get a financial advisor to help you with those things, it costs money obviously. But the money spent on the knowledge and expertise of an advisor will save you thousands down the road.

So many athletes and entertainers simply don't understand business and /or money. Their so called financial advisors or agents etc., don't care if they piss away their money and many wouldn't listen anyway. They just think find me the next sucker that I can exploit and let him/her pay me my fee and if they go broke so what. It's so common it's become a cliché. They get such a big head they don't pay any attention to it anyway.
one of my favorite players all time, but it seems like everything is someone else fault. Can't blame someone else for misusing the money you gave them.
There are a lot of vultures flying around the draft, they know most of these players come from poor backgrounds, are mostly ignorant in terms of financial knowledge and are easy pray, it's no wonder that 80+ of them end up broke after their careers end
He has no one to blame. It's your money, manage or mismanage it yourself and blame no one not yourself. Plus why do you need someone too manage your money? It only takes mere common sense to manage your money.
I think you should have a conversation with a pro athlete (a Big time pro) before posting something like this. Not everyone is taught how to manage money coming out of college. Plus its not smart to just have a checking and a savings account with Chase or Bank of America when you are earning $10 Million dollars a year hence the need for a financial advisor and lawyers. Also he did take some responsibility by saying that he didn't do his due diligence by looking into his finances. Also he trusted people that he paid to help him organize his finances and it seems that one or more of them took advantage. Even with people who make over $100K per year have someone managing a portion of their money because its time consuming.

lostchild2003 if a bank goes under (which it has) most banks only cover you up to 250k per account. Which is why most millionaires have multiple accounts.

Once worth 10's of millions of dollars. Now worth $100k. Smh. I would've been monitoring/managing my own money. Not paying an accountant. Plus, he was balling out(having parties). Correct! But he’s not very bright.
