This woman they interviewed was correct. That coyote was likely an adolescent that was just curious. We share this planet with other creatures and some of those creatures are predators. Watch your small children and pets. Why be angry with a coyote for being a coyote trying to survive just like the rest of us?

On November 20th at 6 am I was surrounded by four coyotes as I went out for my morning run. They were absolutely not afraid of me. I eventually had to go back in. The situation is getting out of hand. The animal control in this city needs to capture them. I know it’s hard having to get out of the office and all.

I like wolves and always have pet dogs, but I always would be cautious if a wolf or a dog would start charging at me, they still have animal instincts. It was clearly pursuing her and sizing up the opportunity, probably until it heard/saw dad in the other corner. Coyotes are known to basically test and escalate the boundaries a few times with these bolder kills until they figure out how to have success.
