Movie Summary:
Two days before his wedding, Doug (Justin Bartha) and three friends (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis) drive to Las Vegas for a wild and memorable stag party. In fact, when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning, they can't remember a thing; nor can they find Doug. With little time to spare, the three hazy pals try to re-trace their steps and find Doug so they can get him back to Los Angeles in time to walk down the aisle.

The naked guy that jumped out of the trunk is actually a real Doctor!
Having a naked Chinese man jump out of your trunk and beat the piss out of you with a tire iron is the only way I could get the piss beat out of me with a tire iron and laugh through the whole thing. 😆
This movie had a limited release, almost no promotion, but by week 3 every theater was playing it and it blew up and became the biggest comedy of the year

Heather Graham is in A LOT of big movies. Especially in the 90s. Boogie Nights, Anger Management, Austin Powers 2…She was everywhere in the 90s.

This happened to me. I was not roofied but drank way much and had complete black out. Then the coming weeks, people started to tell me their little pieces and I was able to reconstruct everything. Honestly, I take to my grave everything I did that night but I come from a little town and I could not look people in the eyes for weeks because I know they knew. So this movie hits home for me.
One time in college a friend and I got tanked and went for a walk. Decided to climb a tree in some guy’s front yard. Took turns climbing so high that we were looking down at the streetlight. Then we passed out on his lawn and when we woke up, the people in the house had already gone to work - they’d driven right past the two of us passed out in their lawn.

The escalator scene when they beat the casino is an ode to Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in RainMan when they did that same thing
The girl Stu got married to in Vegas is Heather Graham and I was an extra in her first movie. Diggstown with James Woods and Louis Gosset Jr. She was 18 and I sat with my friend and her on the bleachers on set and chatted with her. I was so glad to see her get somewhere

@@SurvivorBri Glad you enjoyed it. I was in the crowd and James Woods was one side of the room and the director was on the other and they got into a huge verbal argument in front of everyone. It was like watching a tennis match. Fun fact, Jim Caviezel was one of the boxers. I did not know that then, just found out recently
The escalator/blackjack scene is a spoof of the movie Rain Man, which Alan mentions earlier.
Well "black Doug" would still be kidnapped so it's good they handed over the money.

This movie is such a classic, the plot is simple but so efffective the way you'd assume that you'd get to see the night earlier but they cut it out which adds so much more intrigue makes you guess the whole time. The cast is great and the soundtrack is one of the best movie soundtracks imo. New viewer and now sub

I decided to do the not see your bride thing. Totally worth it when you see her all dolled up walking down the aisle for the first time. The reveal thing some people do before the ceremony for the camera just seems like a performance. Better to see her in front of all the friends and fam.

Hangover 2 gets crazier, it’s just as fun as first. My all time #1 favorite sequel will always be Terminator 2, blew the first movie away!
This IS the best of the 3 films. Very rare do the sequels match up.

I hear what you're saying about a healthy relationship. I'm in one now, & have been for some time. But I gotta say I was a very damaged person from being a very abused Adoptee, with no one fighting in my corner. So it took the men that I've been with, & some very toxic dynamics in my adult relationships, to help me heal, & learn to trust, etc. The man I've been with for years now - he & I both had some demons in our closets that we had to battle & face. But we did together. I helped him. He helped me. And now we've been in a very peaceful, & healthy relationship for many years. I'm not exactly sure what I'm trying to say, except some people have never been shown love, or had healthy relationships modeled for them. But they want to overcome & be a good partner, & have a healthy relationship. If EVERYONE gives up on them, they can never learn to trust, & love, & overcome. No one should be abused, or stay in an abusive relationship, or relationship with someone who is totally self serving. But no one is perfect either. And some people just need help....The trick is deciding who's worth the effort, & who's in it just for themselves...👍
Ed helms naturally has a missing tooth and wears a dental implant the rest of the time. So for the scenes he’s missing his tooth he just removed his implant.

Lol..Vegas is fun, but 4-5 days is all it takes to wear you out. We went in 2007 for the NCAA tournament to just watch and bet on basketball. And that’s all we did. Didn’t see sun from Wed afternoon in Vegas until connecting in ATL Monday morning.
The guy in the trunk was in there for hours baking according to the script. He was locked up in there the whole time the car was impounded. No wonder he was livid...

Allen is “off” a lot in this movie. He played a great role.

It's funny to me, the casino scene is inspired to "rain man" and he mentions that in the beginning when he said "its not gambling when you know you're winning" lol
You guys think alcohol can't do that but that's because you're young, I thought the same back then too, trust me the older you get the easier that becomes. I've had many nights where I've woken up and not remembered shit trust me.
In terms of sequels; Terminator 2 is better, Aliens, Godfather Part 2 I’d say are all better than the first. If you’ve not seen any of them I’d definitely recommend…. And fyi you’re right, this first Hangover movie is definitely the best! Great reaction❤

1st is not always the best. In this case #2 is a drop off. too much of the same, but #3 is so good. It really keeps to the story of the first movie. Terminator 2 and Aliens are second movies that bumped up. Keep up the good reactions.

It just dawned on me that the style of movie was almost the same as "Dude Where's my Car?" (2000). I watched these out of order when they first came out as I wasn't in the US in '09, but prefer the 2nd one over this. Great movie and reactions none the less.

Hangover 2 is hit/miss so is 3 but yall should do a reaction just to hangover 3s trailer. It's not easy to spoil these and it doesn't just a hilarious Alan moment that sets the plot in motion
Dunno about hit and miss. Its a similar film as this but its just more extreme. People complain about it repeating but whats wrong with that? Its a different situation/scenery if it was funny in the first film why change it
