Es war eine ganz besondere Erfahrung, das Team Malizia bei ihrem Ocean Race um die Welt so nahe begleiten zu dürfen. Ich fühle mich sehr verbunden mit euch und bin voller Dankbarkeit dass ihr so vieles mit uns geteilt habt. Ihr habt einen fantastischen Teamspirit, Resilienz, Mut, pure Freude, habt euch gegenseitig so wunderbar unterstützt, ward immer fair, kameradschaftlich und eure Leidenschaft ist so ansteckend! Dieser Film fasst es sehr berührend zusammen, was ihr für eine tolle Reise gemacht habt. Ich bin traurig, dass dieses Abenteuer jetzt vorbei ist, ihr seid mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Bravi!! However, I do not accept that this is a final episode. It is but punctuation at the end of a chapter. You have shared a story of epic proportions that has recounted amazing adventures, bountiful bravery, immense ingenuity and most of all a campaign of camaraderie that displays what can be achieved with true friendship and love. I salute you all because you have won significantly more than a race around the world. Your position on the podium is not an accurate measurement of your accomplishments. My sincerest thanks to all the Malizians for allowing us a tantalizing taste of excellence.

Team Malizia has done a brilliant job at bringing the sailing and their message of Climate Change to the world. I am in Hobart Tasmania Australia at 42 degrees south, and I still felt apart of this project. The onboard footage along with the documentary series, have brought a taste of this race to everyone, definitely the champions of the race promotion and fun. Well done to

Es war, es ist wunderbar. Ihr habt neben der Frühbildung und auch dort eine neue Dimension erschaffen. Nichts wird mehr so sein wie vorher. Ganz groß. From the very beginning, I spotted Team Malizia as the team I would follow because of the total joy they demonstrated. This video is a superb display of the joy yet its talent. Boris had several poignant moments: considering who won overall race when 11th Hour had to retire from Leg 7 because of the collision and joy of being with and in THIS team yet his struggle with loneliness as he will face in the Vendee Globe.

19 July 2022. Just for you alone who has made a huge contribution to Team Malizia. Hip hip hooray Seaexplorer for your birthday. A year ago you were handed over to your element. You have achieved so much in this time: circumnavigation of the world, broken records and brought the team safely through the heaviest seas. I wish your soul many more successful regattas and a long life that you continue to inspire us. Maybe you can still make it home to Lorient today and then there will be a big party.

Ich finde es eine soooo gut gemacht Sportdoku! Kann die nicht irgendwo nominiert werden als Sport Doku des Jahres?!
Hallo Boris,
Wir konnten live beim Start in Alicante dabei sein und haben euch bis zum Ende angefeuert. Einfach klasse wie ihr uns mit auf diese Abenteuer genommen habt.
Wir planen nächstes Jahr im April - Mai den Atlantik von NY über Falmouth (World Cruising Routes AN141A) nach Kröslin zu überqueren. Mich würde daher Interessieren welches Schuhwerk ihr auf dem Ocean Race für die kalten Gewässer benutzt habt. Desweiteren wäre interessant welchen Personal Location Beacon ihr empfehlen könnt.

Team Malizia did not win the overall race. But they won the hearts of many who were committed to other competitors. I am one of them. The performance was spectacular both on the water and in the ports. I have enjoyed experiencing the energy and positive attitude of this team. The entire team is simply a special group of people who love what they are doing. For those of you who know her, has Rosie ever frowned?

Despite the fact that this is a fantastic team I wonder about this race format. I think the spirit to make a change for climate change would also suit the format to be changed. When the numbers were shown saying that there were 7 legs and 32000 miles I was wondering about how many more miles travelling were involved hopping on planes relocating the offshore team or flying a crew member across the continents. It would be a good idea if the race format would at least for the 6 months of racing limit the allowance of travelling miles using an aircraft.

What about visiting the point most distant from any continental mainland. It is at about -19.295119 -146.462766, 100 miles WNW of Hereheretue Atoll in French Polynesia. 3804 miles +- from any continental mainland.
