im 36 and remember family photos and picture books. i grew up on the cusp of everywhere cameras, luckily i graduated high school before smartphones but they existed during univeristy and ever since. thinking back, im mostly glad that we didnt all have cameras back then because i did some stupid shit!

It's an Apple Super Duper Whiz product. You had to buy it. I'm not as mean to you as some of the other comments. Apple gives products to their favorites. Perhaps you are too eccentric for them. Eccentric is not necessarily bad.

With Apple's bottomless money pocket you'd think that they could have given away a few more. It's an act of pure favoritism getting one of these precious objects to test. Wearing one of those masks the wearer looks like an actor in Captain Video and his Video Rangers.
Yeah... im happy with my quest 3 as a bonus I don't have buyers remorse. And it's affordable enough to where my friends could get them and play online with me. But to each there own..... if your in that tax bracket...
JTL you said on the podcast that looking back on past photos from like 5 years ago wouldn’t necessarily make you wish the technology had been more advanced at the time. On that note, I took a vacation in South Carolina for a month in 2014. I had an lg g3 and the iPad Air. I wound up using the Air because it gave me the best possible image at the time. I always wish the technology had been as good as it is today for those moments.
I have some photos I took with the iPhone 4 that I still absolutely love. I had this vintage app and it allowed me to get super creative. Better is better, but good is always is achievable no matter what tools you have.
50:10 I'm not sure I believe it's the ears. For headphones, when I break one in, I'm not actively listening to it. I listen to new headphones for a couple minutes to make sure it's actually functioning and to set the volume just a touch higher than what I would listen to it at, then I'll just clip it to a pillow or something similar to simulate a closed environment/ear and let it run for a week. It runs through my music collection on shuffle so it can get a good mix of different samplings. I check on it for a couple of minutes every once in a while.
The process I do above stems from not wanting to wait. When I first started out buying audiophile audio, break in was something I was told to do. Funny enough I did notice the change in sound after a few months of use. It was not a gradual change, it was just one day noticing a difference, nicer and more polished sound, like all the lint had been cleaned off a piece of fabric type difference. I never did think about whether it was the headphones changing or my ears. After that, I burn in every audio speaker. For home speakers, I just leave them running when I'm not home.
Humans are interesting things. I was on a Canadian channel, and a majority of the early comments were asking why he didn't have a Vision Pro video up. It's no exaggeration to say it went into shaming territory 😅 On the flip side, the ones that did buy it retail, i found some got the same treatment as the creators with Cybertrucks, with people equating ownership with certain negative character traits 🤷🏾♂️
Well, European creators are all empty handed at the moment, so it is a relief having this "vision pro-free zone"😂
The key piece of infor here is that I couldn't have made a right choice here. If I didn't get it, I was judging it without firsthand info. If I put out an opinion based on what I know about the product and my personal experience, that's not valid. If I buy it and review it I'll be a hater who didn't give it a chance or I'll be a fanboy who drank the Kool Aid. You can't win with commenters in the RUclips game.
The Apple way says version 2 of the Vision Pro will feature new colors. Guaranteed!

I love the Quest 3, it does everything i need it to do as far as a VR headset is concerned...I would NEVER spend $3500 on any VR headset on the planet, no matter what it does or no matter how much work i need to do on my mac. It just isnt practical...i havent seen one single feature on any of these videos that makes it worth anywhere near that price. Not one....i appreciate what Apple is trying to accomplish with it, but to me its just another cash grab scheme, simply because they know whatever price they choose to put on it...some people will buy it regardless. It is what it is...but i wouldnt be interested in upgrading at all from the Q3 until something comes out with complete FOV. Besides that as fast as tech moves nowadays the resale value on the AVP will drop faster then virgin panties on prom night in just a year or 2
