lovely to watch this. I bought both the book and case and received them today. Wonder if you can tell me if I can glue patterned paper to the card or wood that I intend using, before putting it through the cutting machine, making it easier to have the pattern on correctly.
I love the idea of this die doing double duty. I got stencil film in a Sizzix craft box, so I'll give it a try. That low tack tape has no tack. I bought some, but prefer washi that I carefully remove.
Such a great idea! Two questions: 1) Was it difficult getting the lace die to cut through the stencil sheets? (I have the other lace die and it took a few passes before I could get all the pieces to cut through the Vagabond with 110lb cardstock and much time spent with a roller brush and piercing tool to get all those cut pieces to come out afterwards) 2) Did it take several tries to get the gold foil to adhere properly? (I purchased this foil several holidays ago and was so disappointed in the results using the non gel method. I also have the gel but never tried using it, I gave up after not being able to get consistent results each time.)
Hi, no it wasn't difficult - but if you are having trouble with intricate dies, then I'd recommend trying the Sizzix Chrome Precision base plate - I can cut all of my intricate dies in just one pass with that. The foil adhered without any issues - but I think when using the gel you do need to make sure it's dry enough before trying.
I've just recently bought this die set, and I love it it's so cute.................. but instead of scoring the lines at the side to fold it's cutting them all...........any advice please Sharon? xx Jean from Scotland.
It kind of varies depending on the thickness of what you’re cutting so this does sometimes happen - there are a couple of solutions, first you can just put a piece of card stock over the score lines then whatever you are cutting on top of that. The card will take the force of the metal which will save it cutting right through. You can also buy a crease pad from Sizzix which is less rigid than a cutting plate so softens the force a bit.
This is brilliant. I have never seen this technique. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Sharon. Lovely demo. Bought the case and book when you were on TV. Would love to see book demo too. Thank you and keep safe❤️
Fabulous ❤
Beautiful little box 😍 I love it ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx stay safe

Yes you can - I like to use double sided adhesive sheets rather than glue when doing that, but either is fine.

Absolutely pretty

Really interesting ty
That as really useful. Would love to see a demo of Tiny Book to go in it.
Is the tiny book case 2.5 inch by 3.5 inch? Will ATC cards fit inside? Thank you
