    So clear and didactic! Thank you for the explanation! I would like to ask you a) if you think this die could work with a Cuttlebug and b) where can I find the passport die? Thank you so much!

      @sharoncurtis  5 лет назад +1

      Laura Kopu Bigz dies work in the Cuttlebug, only thing with this die is that you need the extended cutting plates and I am sure someone told me the Sizzix plates are a little to large to work. Probably you’d have to use your cuttlebug plates and cut it a section at a time being careful not to move your card/board as you feed it through a few times. You should be able to get it from most Sizzix retailers, I just did a quick google search and a few came up but I’m not sure where you are based.

    Love this Journal project you made here. Thank you for sharing how you made it. May I ask what stamp set / die set you used to create the title on the Journal that says, Notes?
    With thanks x

      Hi Samantha Moore. It’s another Sizzix die set called Dainty Alpha.

    Thank you for sharing... would you please share what grade elastic you are using? Thank you

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  6 лет назад

      I'm using 2mm here, but 1.5mm works well too and is a little easier to get through the holes.

    Great video, thanks so much, its good to do that the passport die "pages" work with this newer wrap journal. I was surprised to see how small it looks! Somehow Sizzix always seems to make things look bigger than they really are on their packaging photos! Can I ask why you would want to own this one of you already own the Passport die? Is the only difference just the fact that there is an extended cover so it can wrap?

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  6 лет назад

      Craftin Kate no that’s not the only difference- the spine on the wrapped journal has an extra section so you can put a lot more inside the wrapped one. It also looks very different when cut from leather or fabrics - have a look on Pinterest at some finished journals and you can see why many of us have both dies 😀

      I'd recommend the Eileen Hull Fanclub group on Facebook if you aren't already a member. Eileen's DT are amazing and there's always so much inspiration there.

      Sorry Sharon, no one goes on Facebook anymore, sadly. I'm sure that group is great but I don't go in there.

    Sharon where did you buy your elastic from please?

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  6 лет назад +1

      Susie Dilger it was off eBay- just search for 2mm elastic. I bought huge 50m rolls but you can get smaller quantities

    Does this die also do the pages for inside?

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  6 лет назад

      No it’s just the journal itself- but the pages from the Passport die fit this journal too.

    What die is that, I am new at this,,just bought a big shot

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  6 лет назад

      Elsie Blakley it’s the Sizzix Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal die. If you have the standard Big Shot then you need Extended Cutting pads. If you have the Big Shot Plus the pads are big enough. You can see in the video how to use it.

    I just wanted to say that in your videos you keep saying that the journal die & passport die are Bigz dies, they aren't . They are Scoreboards XL dies. The Bigz dies are the regular size thick dies.

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  Год назад

      Hi Linda. They are all Bigz dies. Bigz dies come in the original regular size, then L, XL and Plus, then some have the scoreboard feature meaning some of the lines score instead of cut.
