OMG I'm in love with the camera quality and the position! Also, I would love to see more helmet cam of show jumping really great video keep up the good work!
First I love your vids you are my biggest inspiration I want to do cross country dressage and show jumping just like you I’ll get there one day Also great job you did awesome I love bea
I think the only thing that ever confuses me lol is you use whoa to slow them down over a jump but whoa means stop? At least for me whoa definitely means 4 feet planted. Love watching your videos and am such a fan!!! Can't wait to see your next moves!
The horse can't stop on a dime. So using 'Whoa' gets them to understand that they need to slow to a stop. Also, they understand tone of voice so a firm command will get them to know they need to come to a quicker stop. It's an understanding between you and your horse.
Hi, Elisa where did this mare come from? I've watched all your YT videos for like 10-15 years and I didn't realise you had any mares aside from Hwin. Please forgive me but Im going to be bold as to ask how long have you had her, is she owned by you and/or your Dad, what's her story? She seems a lovely type, so I'd love to know more.
She's quite new. If you wanna stay more up to date on Elisa's new horses etc. I think her instagram and patreon are where all that info is. (Speaking of mares, I think Elisa's also got Ginger, who's in foal, and of course Fifi as well as Hwin.)
@@barbarianvee I am one of Elisa’s Patron members, but for some reason, Patreon stop notifying me about when Elisa is going to have one of her monthly live talk sessions. I tried going on the Patreon website, but I can’t figure out how to get their attention or send them a message to reinstate those notifications. Do you happen to know how to do that? I would love to know more about her new horses, but I am missing out on all that.
I’ve never jumped so I can’t really say anything but…IMO I wouldn’t slow down my horse right before the jump. No hate at all I have no experience that’s just what I would do
If you’ve never jumped, you shouldn’t be trying to give advice. Elisa was shortlisted to the Olympics 😉 She’s not slowing down. She’s maintaining a steady pace throughout the course. Her ‘pulling’ are half halts simply to steady and balance for the next jump. Plus if a horse goes too fast for a jump, they can rotate over it which is a serious fall (in which many horses and riders are killed).
Bea did wonderful, with a bit more practice she can be a future superstar
I love seeing this perspective of the showjumping!!
In fricken love with this mare 😍 She's got such a flowy canter!!!!

My nickname is Bea How fun!
“Whoa…”. “But I don’t wanna!”

It can mean stop or slow down.
A million internet points for spelling whoa correctly!
@@AuthenticMage no. Its one or the other and to use it interchangeable just confuses the horse.
@@stephaniespalmeryep. I always train my horses to halt on Woah Incase of emergency. I use “easy” when slowing mostly.

It says at the start of the video that Bea is owned by Donna Biggs and Rosemarie Spillane.
