Nice video. The outsoles are way better than the original imho. The welt stitching is grooved which will ensure life. I dont know why the originals have no groove for the stitching
Those boots are brand new right ? Not a kick of dirt or a single mark lol I love my red wings 8 inch loggers and I have re wing moccasins too! Both great boots but they’re way. It’s worn and dirty lol
😂I think I did. He used Ajax dish detergent. I’ve even heard that Dawn is good. I would never use something so harsh on my Iron Rangers leather no matter how dirty they get. Those detergent will remove too much of the oils. Depending on use but usually IR shouldn’t be washed often or conditioned often. Sometimes brushing is all you need
Hello i'm ur new subscriber from Indonesia, nice to meet you! I have some question about saddle soap, Is it safe to mix water and saddle soap in applying our shoes? Because in my references it's not good to use water. Please tell me the information so i can sleep tight 😊
Gerald Schrader well I can say about 5 years, the outsoles still had a few more miles, but the owner of the boot wanted a better outsoles, with more grip. Thank you!
@@geraldschrader8511 seems like they weren’t used very often within the 5 years. Maybe an accumulated use time of at most 1 year. With the heavy creasing I’d say the owner has very narrow feet.
Hey Angelo, How important is it to store your boots with boot or shoe trees? Does it really make that much of a difference? Thinking about buying redwing boot trees but they are like $90. Would shoe trees be sufficient? Thanks.
No they're not. I'm still getting a pair regardless for my freight shipping business i.e., you can still use them for most work purposes. If you need a pair for OSHA type 'work' these may not do.

Moneysworth & Best shoe cream?
Anybody else see that guy hose down his iron rangers and then clean them with Ajax? What a clown. This is how you’re supposed to maintain a boot.

Yes, it's okay to use water and saddle soap together. If you do it the way Angelo is doing, no problem.
He applied a leather conditioner after… it’s just fine.
Very nice job! I'm curious - do you know how old the boots were when they needed new soles?
Gerald Schrader well I can say about 5 years, the outsoles still had a few more miles, but the owner of the boot wanted a better outsoles, with more grip.
Thank you!
@@AngeloShoeShine Wow the rest of the boots looked in great condition for 5 years old.

How often should we clean our leather shoes this way?
Thanks for the content btw, this is great 👞 👍
Jase ASMR I recommend this once a month to keep the leather moist, your leather shoes will last for a lifetime.
Thank you!!
Just IR 8085 ?
Let me guess, in daily life you wear a tuxedo?
Are the iron ranger safety toe???????????
No they're not. I'm still getting a pair regardless for my freight shipping business i.e., you can still use them for most work purposes. If you need a pair for OSHA type 'work' these may not do.
