From the moment you started recommending the Quest3 above the Quest2, I agreed with you... in all...except some accessories... but that's a matter of taste... Quest 3 is awesome...
My favorite games on Q3 would be Blade & Sorcery, Demeo, and Into the Radius. Even playing Chess can be quite diverting. Everything looks way better then on my old Q2
Yeah, Into the Radius is great. I don't buy games on standalone any more, so I'm forgetting what games are cross compatible. Steam is just cheaper, it's not tied to Facebook, and it's got better resolution and textures.
Just FYI, you need a 40 series card to use the AV1 codec so not realistic for everyone. Still agree with your point. Wireless with good WiFi setup is better than playing wired.
my 2 fav games are Pavlov and pistol whip i suck but holy hella fun . I'm a long long time CS fav (cs1.6) pavlov is my goto for now .Oh and i use Virtual Desktop on the regular.
I'm saving up for a Quest 3 - will join the revolution before the end of May this year or my name is not Rumpelstiltskin!!! Hahahah! Oh... wait... darn.
Pass-through updates getting better? Why? Okay, I can understand reading things, but I think phones, tablets, computers, should be virtualized in pass-through. It would be so cool if your phone synced to a virtual future hologram phone you can use in-headset, same for other smart devices.
The Quest 2 is cheaper for a reason; the Fresnel lenses, the limited IPD mechanism, and bulky heaviness is just not worth it. Quest 3 is so much better and worth the extra money

Pistol Whip is bananas with the ProVolver. I can't even play it for more than 5 minutes.
