According to the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), actions against non-filers will be enforced under the Income Tax General Order. Exemptions will be made for individuals performing Hajj and Umrah, young children, students, and overseas Pakistanis holding the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

Who is not Affected?
The restriction on foreign travel would apply to Pakistani citizens who are liable to file income tax returns but haven’t done so. This excludes:
NICOP Holders: Individuals holding a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) are exempt.
Minors: Children below the legal age of filing tax returns are not subject to the restriction.
Students: Presumably, full-time students may be exempt, but official clarification is needed.
Other Exemptions: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) may announce additional categories of people exempt from the travel ban.

Good initiative from the government but bad for those who are hiding their income.
It's good move and I'm filer already but I don't get any benefits from the govt over non-filers, I feel just to fill their pockets. They are just enforcing you to do tax returns without any vision.
So then how the hell on earth is this good move 😅

Tax filer hona aur tax file krnay mei difference hai. Ap tax filer bun jayien lekin ager income nai hai to tax koi bhi pay nai krna hota. Just consult a tax filing consultant. 10-15k rupees mei kaam hojayiega. No issues at all

sister koi issue nai hoga. normally while travelling to UAE you need return air ticket, some cash in hand and hotel booking, if she will be staying with you then just send her your rental contract copy
