Nice Video. Update suggestion for the future would be a variable speed motor and controller, and as you mentioned water drain tube. You could also get pulleys from Lortone tumbler replacement parts possibly or cast pulleys for v-belts (not as desirable but would work).

Thanks for the drawings! I suspect you took drafting in school judging by the professional style. Is there a reason for using pulleys and a belt instead of just using direct drive from the motor shaft?
Hi Ken, yes I’m a mechanical engineer and I did took drafting. Your question is a very good one, however, by building a stronger shaft supported by bearings will take the pressure while working, having said that, you still can use direct shaft if the diameter is larger, but the problem is you also get a bigger motor that you can’t house under the machine. @@ElieGhanimeEG thank you much I just started making custom handmade jewelry about 7 months ago. I bought every tool you need from a rolling mill to all the burs flex shaft ect. Up until 2yrs ago I had been homeless for 7.yrs prior but by being the best person I can be every day all the time an my work ethic I was blessed, an opportunity presented itself an im still running with it. I remember when I was homeless I’d be sitting there sayin damn I wish I had enough gold to learn how to do this an well now I’m doing it. 7 months ago I was sitting at my grandmothers an said you know what I’m bout to do I said I’m about to order everything I need to do this an I did it right there. I had ups fed ex pulling up for over a month straight lol. This is my new drug my therapy I’m truly in love with it an I’m going to be great ima make sure of it. Wish I could send you some of my woek
