      It's not just Ukrainian Women but that happens a lot with Eastern Women as well. I was married to one for 20 years until she decided to just one day leave me for a 21 year old at her work leaving me with my daughter. It's best to keep the age difference not too far apart. If your an older guy say in his 50s don't try and marry some late 20s or 30s something because they will leave you in about 10, 15 or 20 years. And most importantly (I can't stress this enough) protect your assets. Marriage in america sucks and can risk losing your home or if she has small children with you years of child support. This is why marriage has severely declined in america because women can longer be trusted. Unfortunately, if you want a foreign woman with good values your going to have to marry her just to get her to the US.

    Hello Olga. After watching your video, my main takeaway is that, aside from a few cultural details, Ukrainian women are not some exotic species from another planet, but regular people to be treated with respect and common decency. Ukrainian culture might veer slightly on the more conservative side compared to Scandinavia (Sweden in particular, most likely), but other that, what you said, in my mind, apply to pretty much any woman. In Scandinavia, the idea of splitting the bill at a restaurant etc. is not at all impolite because Scandinavian culture, combined with the waves of feminism since the 1960s, puts a lot of emphasis on individualism and equality. One would probably find a similar difference between Denmark and Italy, or Sweden and Greece. Let me quickly add, that this is NOT meant to say that your video was not useful, but rather as a positive statement that Ukrainians are just people like everybody else. 🙂

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  Год назад +12

      Yes, definitely... girls (same like man) are the same everywhere;) but culture may impact the way how you can deal with them

    • @Tsuroerusu
      @Tsuroerusu Год назад +4

      @@Olga_Reznikova Definitely, and if I had the privilege to go on a date with a Ukrainian girl here in Denmark, I probably would pay the bill on the first few dates as a way to "reach out" to her, emotionally. For example, it is one thing to understand something intellectually (Maybe she had already heard that Danes put a lot of emphasis on equality), but emotionally it may take some "ice breaking" to really relate to it when one comes from a different culture. For me, splitting the bill is a way to say that, I do not want a woman to be dependent on me, nor to feel that she owes me anything, I want her to meet me as an equal, i.e. a sign of respect. To be funny about it: A Danish woman is just as much a viking as a Danish man! So after "reaching out" and, hopefully, getting the chance to explain that to a Ukrainian woman, maybe over time she would be able to relate to that notion through me if not generally, if that makes sense. Especially given Ukraine's historical connections with the vikings, maybe we could imagine a Ukrainian girl kind of enjoying the idea of being seen as a viking woman by a Danish boyfriend, haha. 😛 This, of course, requires that one feels emotionally engaged from the outset, and not being hurt or offended because somebody is insensitive or unaware of one's cultural outset which, in turn, goes back to the idea of "reaching out" regarding cultural differences such that things which might seem counterintuitive, like splitting a bill on a date, is something where you become able to see it in a different light and take in what somebody else might mean by it and see it on its own terms. Anyway, thanks again for doing this video, and I hope you are doing well these days. From here and to victory: Slava Ukraini! 🇩🇰 🇺🇦

    • @Olga_Reznikova
      @Olga_Reznikova  Год назад +8

      @@Tsuroerusu I don't know why Scandinavian women so much care about equality (maybe historically they were very not equal to men), but in Ukraine "equality" is not a thing which bothers most of women at all...
      Women expect man to pay for restaurants and entertainment (at least), they expect man to open the door in front of the girl, to give her coat, to buy her gifts and to carry heavy bags)
      For sure, there are different preferences, and I know there are really women who carry everything on themselves including man, but those are not what majority dream about ;-)

    • @Tsuroerusu
      @Tsuroerusu Год назад +3

      @@Olga_Reznikova Of course, there are Danish women who like that too as well, probably a fair few, but I think the general "ethos" of society is a focus on equality. For example, we recently passed a new family leave law to earmark a certain amount of family leave for fathers. One explanation for this emphasis on equality in Scandinavia could be a sociological one: Denmark, Sweden and Norway are essentially "tribes", so to speak, a little bit like Native American tribes in the sense that we are "one community". So things that feels like dividing the "tribe", be they good or bad, are instinctively perceived as negatives. If somebody has too much power, too much money on a scale that creates an imbalance in the community, too few rights, too many obligations, anything you can think of that can feel like somebody is not "inside the tent", so to speak. If you then add in the fact that we have had feminist activism, debates etc. since the 1960s then, I think, this explains the difference in emphasis. I must confess, I do not know the details of feminist movements in Ukraine during the Soviet Union, but my loose impression is that, it was not as widespread as in Western Europe until after 1991 which would also explain why the effects are seen more clearly elsewhere. I hope that made sense.

      @@Olga_Reznikova I am the same way! I’m from the US, and I don’t understand how equality and feminism are incompatible with things like a man paying for a date or holding the door open for me. Okay, this is my situation right now. Just matched with a ukrainian women on a dating site, I wished........... I have read this thread cause clearly this is next level for me and for sure something I have 0 clues about haha. But somehow I made a good impression on her? Conversation was good so I felt comfortable in asking her if she'd like to meet in person amd get to know each other more, she said yes she would love to meet. We are both in Canada not the same city, about 1.5 hr away. She asked about my occupation and I answered honestly amongst my other interests, she doesn't drink to which by some miracle it's good seeing as how I am 39 days sober and counting. She used words like "good for you, you have identity" so because I'm clearly no used to speaking to a women like her and I thought I was doing good you know getting her to agree to meet in person, she definitely used the word date during our convo, so in an effort to building chemistry prior to our first hang out I asked if she'd be interested in a video chat you know to build to that chemistry i mentioned. I can see that this didn't translate how I intended because she says next "so for you matters more how I look" you know to which I replied of course not, and then she replies "🤣 👍 nice try" I said I've honestly been enjoying our conversation to which she replies "okay, but now you are on risk like" phew... i guess she's still giving me a shot ? But now I have 0 room for error 😭. So im looking for help here, what can I suggest we do for first meet, how to greet, what to bring, where to take, topics of conversation etc. I am really interested and based on everything I've been reading there is a mutual interest otherwise I have no doubts she would have unmatched me by now if she didn't like how we been chatting. Also should I reply back that I hope I didn't offend her witht eh video chat suggestion and try to steer the conversation a different route

      I'm interested, this was posted a year ago. How did it all end up? You're with the gal today? To answer your question, you could have told her indeed that your intentions were misinterpreted, but only if it's in the moment. If the moment has passed, DON'T come back to it, build over it. Once it's smooth and stable again you can place it back and tell her on a light tone you didn't want to offend and it's not what you wanted to say, but it can be unnecessary.

    I’m a male nurse at a hospital in the US. There is a group of Ukrainian women who deliver patient’s meals throughout the hospital and some work in the cafeteria. There is this one particular one who’s very pretty (most of them are actually). Most of them act like I don’t exist outside of just another passerby. But this one seems to stop no matter what she’s doing or who’s around, and gives me this little girl, googly eyed greeting every time I come around, sometimes multiple times in a day.
    I’m interested in seeing what that’s about but I’m nervous about what happens if she actually ends up being single and interested because of the language barrier, different cultures etc. The way she reacts when I’m around it’s like she’s star struck which always catches me off guard because I know a pretty woman like that need not feel that way about men. Yesterday I went to buy a desert from the cafeteria and while she was ringing me up she stopped and with the usual googly eyed smile she hands it to me and says “for you it’s free.” 🤯 It’s to the point where I feel more uncomfortable NOT pursuing it than I initially felt about actually pursuing it.
    I don’t know what to do because in the US women don’t tend to give that type of energy to a guy so obviously and blatantly, especially pretty ones like she is. Plus I’m a black guy. Do Ukrainian women date non euro type men? All of these questions keep me holding back from officially breaking that ice and seeing if there is something to this energy she’s putting out when I come around or whether she’s just a super pleasant person in general and I’m just misreading it. lol 😫

      To your question about race - for sure Ukrainian women can find a man of any ethnicity handsome and interesting. Ukrainian ladies are generally very sweet and caring and it might as well be that she is just being friendly, not romantically interested. I would highly recommend you to try and talk to her, ask her out or suggest her help (to carry something heavy/to drive her home after a date etc). Initiate is very(!) much valued by Ukrainian women. With a Ukrainian women it will be highly appreciated if you take care of her, treat her with a nice meal/coffee or help her out with something. Opening doors and giving compliments will be very much appreciated. Ukrainian women need to see if they can rely on you, it’s common that a Ukrainian man will start solving woman’s problems way before he start unzipping her dress. Good luck👍🏻

So let's suppose we spend our life traveling here and there to show of you to your friends and family, and what's next? You eventually get married, you will ask for Kim Kardashian marriage, then you have children, you will ask to pay their studies at Oxford or Harvard, you want the BIG Range Rover SUV, eat multiple times at restaurants per week and live in a big House near the sea. And if the man earns good money but cannot afford your "ideal" life you will dump him because he is not rich enough? But did these women think that they come froma miserable village or country where people earn 250€ or a little more/month? Western men when they say they split the bills, they say it because the living here and in Ukraine is not the same, even if the salary is higher, it doesn't mean everyone earns a 6 figures salary per year or is millionaire and corruption is not something you can practice here. So I think Ukrainian women are not helping themselves to have a stable relationship with this behaviour.

    I saw this video through an ad. I gotta say this is the best advice iv seen in a video in awhile. I don't know why men feel like in other countries women are desperate for men over in contrary such as UK or US. Iv met a few women online from the Ukraine through gaming and discord and completely agree with your video. Though one did have a real interest in me it was through are personalty and love of the games we play and other interests. Not through desperation. That didn't work out due to sercumstance rather than any of the reasons men expect from this video and it was back in 2017. So yeah I agree and she also stated some of the things you mentioned in this video.

      Well man you need also to wake up and not be blinded because a Ukrainian girl tells you that she is very traditional and conservative when it comes with relationship. Some of them use this trick because they know 99% of men look for that, however when later you learn you have to pay for absolutely everything, even holidays for her and that she is demanding of travels, because who doesn't like to travel to beautiful places? Then you will quickly understand that at some point adding this on top of your bills, restaurants, food, taxes and eventually children scholarship, you better have some billions in place or she will dump you to start something else with another man. Learn your limits because a taker don't have any.

    There is a 50 year-old woman in Ukraine that I've been in contact with and have gotten to know over the past 5 years. I'm 65. I have no expectations that she (or any other woman, for that matter) would be seriously interested in getting married to me. If by some chance it might happen, that would be nice because she's quite likeable; if not...oh, well. I've never been married, no kids. At my age, and given my location, I'd probably have a slightly better chance at making friends with a female lynx (yeah, right) than actually have a decent human female want to be with me.
    Olga, there are more people just in Odessa than there is in the entire state of Alaska, where I live (we have a bit over 733,000 people)...and Alaska is twice the size of Ukraine. Not too many people want to come here to live. 🤷‍♂🐺
