How to Plant Seeds in Potting Mix

Dibble a hole in the potting mix and place 1-2 seeds in each hole. The depth of the hole is determined by the information on your seed packet. If there is no info, a general rule is that the hole should be 2x the diameter of the seed. Cover with potting mix and tamp lightly. Move to the germination bench and water thoroughly. Bottom heat will speed germination. Sprout should appear in 3-14 days, depending on variety.
