  • The climate crisis is making our cities hotter, posing a significant health threat to those living in urban areas.
The BBC’s Carl Nasman explores the specific challenges cities face as temperatures rise and looks at the solutions already in action, including reflective surfaces and increasing greenery around our concrete jungles.
This is episode one of Future Earth, a series exploring today’s most important developments in climate science and sustainability.

Literally trees. I live in the mountains and there’s a patch of trees growing over a large section of my road. When I pass that spot on my side by side it could be 100f out and 30° cooler under that canopy. You almost get the chills.
Now I’ve planted 58 trees on my property.
I’ll get lower temps and some nuts and fruits.
    My progeny will too.

If climate warming is the problem, which it isn't, then trees the real solution.

97% of scientists from around the globe agree that man made climate change is real. No humans agree on almost anything at that percentage.
There is no scam, only scientific facts that don’t need an opinion to be correct, the data is verifiable.
      Stop your silliness.

I did the same - planted several dozens of fruit trees & shrubs, but also I plant some more fruit and melliferous trees on the wastelands in my neighborhood, because I want to support the biodiversity in this difficult time.

There were many protests in Poland against removing trees and paving public spaces in cities. Trees are a part of the solution, but also using too much hard surfaces like concrete will increase the temperature and decrease water retention, which is bad if you have flash floods on the rise. There should be both trees and unpaved green areas wherever it's possible.

Stop building them? Or we acting like the concrete etc isn't raising the temps in city's? When it's been proven many of times.

How about building cooling towers in community buildings aka wind catchers, like the one's in other countries. Reduce your electricity consumption for a/c. Put them in schools or other community buildings for people to cool off if the grid goes down. Look into ancient windcatcher cooling technology. Also, there is the Persian ice house, or how to make ice in the desert

The summary of climate change is easy.
It is the change of humidity in atmosphere, which produce between the (land)and the(seas & oceans) on the other hand...
Occurring of rains, snow, storms, and floods at time and in unexpected places, confirm my theory(the change in the directions of winds)which must be balanced...
How to reduce the heat of the earth and atmosphere?
We must supply the earth with a natural cooling places...
    Results:
    ----------
1- To balance the water vapor which produces between the( ground)and the(seas and oceans )...
2- To balance the pressures of the air in the atmosphere...
3- To balance the directions of winds which caused the climate change...
4- To control upon the storms and harricans...
5- To revive the the first theory of climate change (dynamic horizontal movement).
6- To balance the percentage of gases forming the atmosphere.
NOTE :The lack of water vapor is of land not of seas and oceans...
These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000...

But about earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, sinkholes, tsunami, dry lakes and rivers, flow of water from the mountains and hills, explodeand of eyes water from the ground, formation of new mountains or islands, collaps of mountains ,and cracks on ground,& ,& ,&,they are out of control or balance...

Lost of (????)L daily as a form of vapor of water from the ground, has a big effect to rise or reduce of temperature by veiling the rays of the sun,and decreasing the earth's radiation...
Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally, earth and atmosphere ...
This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)...
This means, the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult...
This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too...
This case means the change in the directions of winds, which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling...
    Results :
These directions of winds, must be balanced...

    The law and climate change.
Here, for instance. You own a car. You use drugs. Your innovative automobile has a sensor, a platelet sensor built into the weave of the twine which stitches your steering wheel together. If you do drugs your automobile will record your platelets levels.
If you ever try to sell your car, the market value will drop because of the drug use.
This is an example of how stupid the drug war is. You know, drug war; the Law.

Air conditioning will make it worse in the long term. AC works by transferring heat from inside your home to outside, however that process requires energy and has inefficiencies in systems like the compressor creating more heat. So the home is cooled but the heat outside increases more than the heat pumped out
