I agree! It would be a blast if they did the blindfolded makeup challenge! I'd love to see that, especially if they added a bottle of wine in the mix ;)
Look at it this way: YOU are the FIRST nixiepixi so you need the one after it!! 😉 I LOVED Elizabeth Taylor!! Her violet eyes were stunning with black hair or silver!! She was incredibly talented and beautiful and so compassionate!! Great choice as a favorite Hollywood icon!! ❤️💕❤️ You did a lovely job! Blue eyes look great on you!!
I plan activities for elderly people at a daycare centre, and my group of ladies would love to watch your DVD and reminisce about their favourite stars, and the makeup trends they have seen and used!
I was tempted to buy the documentary they did, especially for the brush, but I heard 'black actress' and immediately went to Amazon and bought it. 😃I'm so glad your covering the influence of the black community in the golden age of Hollywood, however brief it is, it's definitely much appreciated ☺️
I've been watching your channel for years, this is the first beauty channel I was super obsessed with and I still love it. Thank you for continuing to put out inspiring and educational content!
Elizabeth Taylor was so beautiful... as are you! Gorgeous look. I especially like the end with the jewels!!! When your hair was up in rollers, it looked just like Liz's color! Gorgeous!
I love your Elizabeth Taylor make up. It is beautiful on you and she was a true beauty Hollywood icon and you could not have picked a better person to do a make up video tutorial on
This looks so beautiful, I love it! Reminds me sooo so much of how my grandmother did her makeup. She was always a fashion and makeup inspiration to me.
You look fabulous. I love this look, so glamourous and beautiful. Your eyes look amazing with those lenses in too. Looking forward to seeing the documentary xxx
Best channel! I love how they always give background about the people they do but it's not to much that it's boring. Great makeup always and great personalities. They are my absolute favorite. Love from Argentina :)
Wow love this tutorial Nic!! You really get across how passionate and genuine you are. Cannot wait for the documentary my favorite subject is history of makeup 🙌🏻👍🏻💄
Love this. I agree she is just so amazing. That's so interesting that she did her own make up for Cleopatra! That's such iconic makeup. I love the Hollywood looks you two do...I would love too see a Jean Harlow look from you!
Just adore Elizabeth Taylor. I remember watching Giant and thinking how beautiful she was. You did a lovely look of her Nic. Very much enjoyed it. 👏🏼 ~ Melody
I love Elizabeth Taylor. Always have done, she was so beautiful. My favourite film of all time is Giant. Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean and Rock Hudson. 😍😍😍 Just a dream cast and in my opinion the best film ever made.
Absolutely beautiful! When I was a kid I loved watching Elizabeth Taylor and thinking how beautiful she was, especially as Cleopatra - those eyes! Sophia Lauren was so beautiful too, so many of them. Thanks you love this video :)))
I was too tempted and googled Reta H - what a dancer! Spent the last 20mins watching her!! They were all films of my childhood on Sunday afternoon tv. I believe Liz Taylor's eyes were said to be violet! Such an interesting video and I loved the finished makeover, thanks Nic.
Your eyes look so beautiful and natural with those contacts, before you mentioned it, I was like why Nic’s eyes become blue?? is that camera effect?? It's look just like you are born with this colour!!
I love Elizabeth Taylor so much! She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I wish she would have written a autobiography, I bet it would have been very interesting
Gorgeous!!! So inspiring. I wore something like it yesterday. Works for brown/black eyes too. ❤️ And yes, Cleopatra is. To. Die. For. Oh. My. Gods!!! 👍🏼😄
Love the way you say you want to put on a really nice luxurious foundation... your expression! I believe when one is doing makeup it should be an experience! Thanks for the awesome video! Love you ladies!
Beautiful, and so glamorous. I'd love to see a video on a winter evening/night out look. Standard evening/night out seems to be a smokey eye so I'd love to see your winters twist on it to make it interesting and current.
Between the dark hair and blue contacts i thought you were Sam for a minute there! Also, every time either of you put on foundation it looks so healthy and smooth!
this is the most accurate liz taylor makeup i've seen!!! The makeup she actually wore when you see her movies- not the huge liner red lip thing that actually she didn't wear as much
Could you do Gene Tierney or Grace Kelly they were my favorites. Also my favorite Elizabeth Taylor film was National Velvet or The Taming of the shrew.
Oooh yes please do a video about concealers! I have a very fair skin and quite dark under-eye, my veins are also peeking through. I'm constantly on the lookout for an amazing concealer, and never know how to apply properly those very thick ones. I find it's quite difficult to get both very good coverage and natural finish.
Yes!! I love Elizabeth Taylor. I've always been sad about how when it comes to Hollywood icons, Marilyn and Audrey dominate the conversation. They forget so many women, and of course Elizabeth! Love this look.
I enjoyed this tutorial so much! Absolutely stunning! My favorite movies with ET is some of her least known like: Night Watch, Secret Ceremony. The Driver's seat, Boom and Ash Wednesday. I would love to see more tutorials with Hollywood Icons like: Jayne Mansfield, Jean Harlow, Rita Hayworth, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Theda Bara, Julie Christie, Faye Dunaway, Dorothy Dandridge, Doris Day, Vivien Leigh, Raquel Welch, Mia Farrow etc
Beautiful video! I follow you and Sam on the pixiwoo page non stop, and i am addicted to the Real techniques brushes. Thanx for all the tips and trics Love from Holland
You look beautiful Nic!! And you did such an amazing job, you almost look like Elizabeth by the end! Need to get my hands on the Hollywood icons DVD as I really enjoyed all your facts about Elizabeth!xx
I agree! I loved the movie, Butterfield 8! I thought she was excellent in the part of Gloria, but I also thought that she looked her absolute most beautiful in Butterfield 8. Mind you she was absolutely breathtaking as Maggie the cat, in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Might you please do a tutorial on her makeup in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as the makeup artist for that movie seems to have chosen a more beige and chocolatey eye makeup palette for her character, "Maggie", and her eyes really popped in that movie?
Hi Nic, I also love Elizabeth Taylor. She was one amazing lady. Thank you for doing a glam look. I had asked for more glam looks, I'm sure I wasn't the only one. How about doing a video with you doing Sam's makeup & her doing yours? That would be great to see. Much love, Debbie 💋
you look gorgeous!!! please do a holiday make-up look that's not traditional! maybe gem coloured shadow (emerald, royal blue, mardi gras purple, etc...)? i have hooded eyes, so winged liner with a red lip isn't what i personally gravitate to. tia!!!
I think you and Sam should do each others make up! And I love yalls instagrams!
Katie G YES!!!!
yes !!
So want to see this!
Katie G such a nice idea ! Yes yes yes ❤️
I agree! It would be a blast if they did the blindfolded makeup challenge! I'd love to see that, especially if they added a bottle of wine in the mix ;)
