So you totally must have protested Syria, right? Azerbaijan? Yemen? A call for a cease fire, return of the hostages and bodies and new government for Palestinians and Israelis would be great. In 1960 my uncle walt, a carpenter, bought a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a 2 car garage on 1/4 acre in Daly City south of San Francisco for $25,000 he also bought a brand new Ford for $2,500, his wages $18,000 per year. The National debt was $286 Billion dollars, less than 1/3 of a Trillion.
Today our national debt is over $34 TRILLION and increasing very fast, houses in Daly City are over a Million, and a new Ford is well over 10 times what my uncle Walt paid for his then. Today the average yearly wage for a carpenter in San Francisco is $54,000. Do the math to see how well the republican and democrat administrations have done with our tax monies since 1960.

My concern is primarily about the pro-hamas support that some of these protesters are confusing for support of the Palestinian people and the resulting antisemitic harassment of Jewish students. I would like to know if every campus is experiencing this.
The media seems to be trying to stir up this narrative, but I’ve not actually seen much evidence of it and I’ve been following this fairly closely. I’ve seen a lot of interviews of the Jewish students that are part of the protests talking about the feeling of community with students of all faiths, sharing the Seder and other traditions.
Hamas and Palastinian's can't be separated, the Palastinian's made their choice when they voted in Hamas. Now they all will be treated the same!

You have what? All this chaos finds its source in this one and only confusing and ambiguous sentence: Israel has the right to defend itself or Israel has the legitimate right to defend itself.
Yes, it's good. We agree, but where it hurts is when this international community wants to make this legitimate right of defense private property. That is to say, this right would belong solely to Israel. No, it cannot be like that. Any person, individual, or human being attacked has the legitimate right to defend themselves. Consequently, in this sentence, it is nowhere written that to defend itself, Israel must start by making a mess everywhere, oppressing an entire people, and attacking consulates. It doesn't have to be like that.
Israel himself should understand and know that, regardless of the quality of the milk, once on the fire, it will rise. If Israel did not want the lid to blow, it should not think that it could lock up almost 2 million human beings and lives and not expect that one day it would explode. Free speech is great. But if a college has rules about where you can exercise free speech, and recognizing the college cannot tolerate hostility towards other students and blocking venues or the ability to attend class, then arrests are in order. Also if a group is calling for genocide (from the river to the sea) that clearly makes some students feel unsafe and crosses a line. So yes to free speech but no to violating campus rules and inciting to violence.
That’s why these leftists are so stupid, freedom of speech exists but the medium you choose will vary. Campus is a private entity ultimately it’s not a public domain, like a street or park.

The commentator shouldn't take the protestor's at their word for the reason for the protests: College protests are as much a social events and a way to pick up girls as they are actual protests.

look for protests local to you and search out the social media of the organisations the students have set up in support for palestine to see what help they need- many have however asked that people instead donate to charities working directly in gaza as that is the aim of the protests, to raise awareness of the genocidal state these people are forced to endure
