Wow ... I saw those guys at the 40 Watt Club around the same time this was filmed (maybe a few months afterward). I remember Jason snake charming the crowd with this song, hushing them right before the last verse and then detonating the entire band. Watching this video made the hair stand up on the back of my neck remembering ... thanks for posting!
Whatever strange never to be seen again guitar Warner is playing here - and i think it might be one of his best ever sounds- well, I'd like to find a left handed version.
Ha! I actually contacted him a couple of years ago to ask if he still had this very guitar...and if he’d consider parting with it. He shut me down real quick, saying “No. That is my first guitar. A 1962 Fender Jazzmaster. Still have it.” 😆 He added that it was now black and that he regrets painting it. I love that guitar!
