Why Winners Always Win And Losers Always Lose

- Why does it seem like some people always come out on top?
They dominate in a lot of different areas and everything just seems to go their way.
And why are certain individuals unable to catch a break and always get the short end of the stick?
Does it just boil down to luck and genetics? Maybe.
However, I believe there are additional factors at play here.
Let’s explore some of them to gain a better and more nuanced understanding of why some people just keep succeeding and why others keep failing.
And more importantly, I’ll show you the way to use all of that information to your advantage.

So, Always perceive everything as Win, no matter how small it is
Yup. No matter how small.
Not everything should be seen as a win. If you procrastinate over your work and decide to spend the day playing games, that is not a win.
The message should be, perceive your efforts as a win, not the results.
Example: you win if you post one youtube video every week, regardless of the views it has.
Praising our effort develops a growth mindset and allows us to focus on our actions instead of the end results
We can both agree that effort is key. Maybe the message should be to focus on celebrating both the effort and small wins along the way.
Having supportive parents should be on this list(not just financially) but just them being around and giving good life advice is huge. At my school, I could always tell which kids had good parents just by how they strived for good grades and they always had some extracurriculars scheduled and help with homework. If you had that, give your parents a big hug because a lot of us didn’t.
Very true
So unlucky kids are doomed.
I don't think so.
@@aracelimercadofernandez9928 smh he never said that , its more about your own determination and resilience w which you can become a winner
Thanks for this, I'm going through a horrible period of slacking off.

Oi! What do you mean thank you for watching? No! I must be the one to thank you!! Man my life has just been better than yesterday ahh what a beautiful day thank you! Truly!
Interesting. It's good to acknowledge that life isn't fair. But there are still usually things we can do to improve our situation. Even if it's just our perspective.
💜 Well said
Absolutely!
Perspective is EVERYTHING. The last of the human freedoms.
Welcome back! :) Missed your videos
just in time, this is what i need to hear, thank you for the video
"That which you don't know, controls you." - some awesome historical person
I was born in FEB 94 but studied with 93 kids, I was bad at studies in KG and teachers wouldn't help me but helped other kids
Later my genetic intelligence kicked in
I loved basketball but was too short for it, the school coach took other tall kids to inter school game and I didn't even knew it, by the time of high school my genetics again kicked in, I got tall, and he saw me play for the first time in near last days of school and his mouth was open wide when he saw me intercepting passes.
I kept getting full marks in Maths and very high marks in sciences but my teacher's aversion to my bad handwriting and my own lack of ambition never let me take studies seriously , never studying at home etc.
never played basketball beyond the local backyard.
After watching this video I felt like I should have the winner's mindset all the time, keep attacking from all angels FTW. Others are not innately more well adjusted/consistent, I just need to break old long habits.
your video 'mini habits' made me do positive things for the first time in life, and this video gave me such an absolute confidence.
Thank you, thank you, fellow traveler.
I read the outliers book long ago and it really opened my eyes about how the small differences can snowballing into massive differences.
It must suck to be a kid born into december, having poor background and a depressed view of life ( well, if they are born into december, having poor background, they are often feeling inferior comparing themselves with other kid who are stronger, smarter,... richer in their class which lead to further plummeting their confidence, make them tend to have a depressed view of life. You can't really not compare when you go to school and fit in a class with all the kid the same age as you ).
So, a depressed view of life can just be a product of being born late in the year and having a poor or complicated background...
Well, that is something outside of what we can control so we should just try to make the small changes, take the small victories and slowly rising our confidence.
Glad you’re back! Potent message as ever, love your videos!
It's always refreshing to watch your videos. Thanks...❤❤

thank you! it's so good to see your new videos!
I certainly was able to overcome. I was born in October and started Kindergarten at age 4 and 1st grade at age 5. I was an average HS student, better than average college student. I was very successful in my career in 30 to 55. Then the climate began to definitely go against me. Age discrimination is real! Maybe it wasn’t really my age, it was that they could hire brand new grad nurses at a steep discount salary! I was no longer valued for having 20 years of experience! Hospitals became all about the money. RNs like me left the profession and started different careers.
I was born in August while my classmate was born in March....I graduated highschool with 80% while he got 72... But then he got admitted to a better college because of community reservation,i had some family issues that hampered by ability to do well....
I finally graduated engineering with around 70% marks & pandemic restrictions made hard to get help....So, I took up a temporary job in food delivery(as it was essential services) so I could bypass these restrictions to a certain degree and go to my professor's home to learn....
So,while the study may be a determining factor for sport, there are more variables at play for academics.... (Luck, how we deal with setbacks, being able to afford good mentors, finding our weak spots and improving 1% everyday etc ..)
Good to have you guys back❤❤❤
Brilliant! Thanks a lot much needed video
When I was a child there were 4 admissions terms per year, starting in September after the 6 weeks holiday. So the youngest in class were this born in the summer before the start of September.
By the time my eldest went to school in the early 80s, it was changed to only two admissions per year. September and January.
Then by the time my younger sons started it was reduced even more to only one block of admissions a year from September.
Abandoning 3 admission terms per year made a huge negative impact on a lot of children who have since been wrongly deemed to have learning difficulties.
Thank you I think I need this right now I'm learning for for important examen right now and starting to slack off
Thanks 🙏 😊❤ amazing as always ! And such a gentle but assuring reminder to celebrate every win 🎉 and be grateful

I watched your video on sleep. I am the guy that’s been staying up until 3am playing video games. Time to make a change. I feel like crap. 4 hours sleep a night isn’t working
Hope you are doing well. Please upload more frequently. Your content is really good. 😊
I'm doing fantastic, thank you! I'll try my best
Quality is much better than quantity.
Thank you so much.
the first good thing happened this morning was seeing the notification of your new video. one suggestion, can it be more gender neutral? like "you see a attractive person on the street and want their number..." this way i and others regardless of their gender can relate easily to every aspect of your video ☺️. Thank you for your hard work ❤️😊
Insightful
Never thought that way
Great content again, thank you! :)
Thanks for sharing the them "The Winner Effect". I first discovered this phenomenon after reading the 12 Rules for Life Book by Jordan Peterson when he gives the example of the lobsters. Amazing content!
Excellent keep going
I agree with the last part,.. just going and talking to cute girls have gotten some good girls into my social circle and trained my brain to handle rejection and just move on(if at all i get rejected)
At worst, nothing changes.... At best,i end up with a number and a date... Sometimes, the nature of relationship isn't yet clear, but having some cute women have helped me create a reference experience for bringing more cute women into my life, how to talk to them to get them to open up,etc ..
Awesome 🎉🎉
thanks for this
What happened to you? 🤔 Please keep posting regularly
He focus on quality over quantity
Bro this isn’t his job. He still has to focus on his own career and making low quality weekly uploads isn’t going to make him as much money as doing his actual job.
Honestly I've never really posted that regularly to begin with, but nowadays other priorities just keep taking my time😅
It must take hours and hours and hours to write the script, draw the animations, record the audio, edit the whole thing.... give the guy a break 🙂
It's okay, quality over quantity 😊@@BetterThanYesterday

thank you for your videos ! but could you add your sources? I am very curious about the footbal players and the month of birth thing. How was it calculated? when? in wich country? is there really a causality between those two different things?
Thanks
Regarding the beginning of the video, I'm born in November and I was 6 years and 10 months when I started school. I'm not saying it was easy, but I was usually in the top of my class and there were mates older that struggled.
I like this channel so much ❤❤
If you put the effort, mindset and don't quit, you WILL SUCCEED. it's not rocket science.
I started school a year early, was always much younger than my peers and I disagree. Was one of the top students in primary
Of course! The inverse is also true, and many older kids get bad grades. The relative age effect is just one component that can give someone an advantage, there are many more pieces of the puzzle to consider. But when examined in a vacuum, you're statistically more likely to do better if you're older
i love your content
Title: How to win at the game of life
My brain: tf ig I'm losing in the game of life😢
Thank u
I was born in March and was sent to school a year earlier than my peers due to being a "gifted" child. I did great in school but now I see I could have done better😅
In Australia we cut off our dates in June July.
Do you have a video about Ikigai?
A friend gave me the book "The Courage To Be Disliked: How to free yourself, change your life and achieve real happiness" and it's quite interesting in how it challenges pretty much every common belief. Have you read that or something else on Adler's psychology and life philosophy?
I believe I read 1/4 of it, but I just couldn't get into it so I stopped. I'd be interested in hearing some of your takeaways though
@@BetterThanYesterday Well, it starts off quite discouraging you could say, as it makes you responsible for all your problems, since it says they're all problems in how you deal with others. It doesn't get much better, since it predicts you're gonna need to work on building healthy relationships with others and restructure your life in a matter of time that equals about half your current life time. On the other hand the payoff couldn't be more worth it: you're genuinely happy and your life is easy (and you're probably a productive and responsible member of society). The hardest part for me lies within the base assumptions like "every human has the same value". It's easy to say, but abandoning your way of comparing people seems daunting. Likewise saying "Just existing alone makes you valuable." seems like an assumption made in a happy place with lots of privilege. Then again we'd probably have that, if everyone had that kind of philosophy.
I was actually born in January, but that didn't matter. Where I live kids start first grade at age 6, but they can make an exception for kids a few months younger if the parents have good reason. My parents decided to enroll me a year early because they had work in the mornings and it was convenient for them. So I was always the smallest kid in class, I've also been diagnosed with ADHD and needless to say, school wasn't a good time for me, or any time afterwards for that matter.

..it's being song since I've heard your voice
I was born in February, but with an additional interview I got admitted to the school one year early. My entire life my peers mostly was OVER a year older than me. I was a looser, I was loosing and loosing and loosing… Yet in the end I am so much more successful than the most of them. I enjoy your videos a lot, but this one is lost on me…
Relative age effect is merely one of the factors that can give someone a small edge. It doesn't paint the whole picture, especially once other factors are considered. Personality, ambition, socio-economic status, etc., all of them can easily influence the course of our lives, for better or for worse
So,mindset matters....😊
One point is not taken into account - people are not mice, they have experience of the soul and past incarnations. The more mature the soul, the less it is influenced by the limitations of the body dictated by the laws of the animal world. Of course, the majority of humanity is at the initial stage of awareness, which is why the statistics presented in this video exist.
Thank you very much!!❤
I was born in early August, and most programs i my country, of whatever sort, begin anywhere between early September to mid-October. Screw me I guess... then again, I'm not remotely naive enough to think every instance where I've come up short in life is due to this factor.
Of course. A lot of factors determine how our life turns out, this is just one of them
Just to put things into even more perspective, getting a girls number while she has a boyfriend, is not a win either.
7:28 one thing they did in that experiment was to simply choose one of the mouses and giving him an advantage by pushing him from behind. Make of this what you will.
Mbappe was born on december, pele and maradona in october and they are all the great at soccer.
💯
Wow
Well, that loosing mouse didn´t get any motivation and momentum nor the testo boost that follows -so the guy who got dumped then propably will be scrapped next time again 😅
Ah after long time
I litterally discovered this when I was 12. I was born in december.

The real answer is that its all luck
Other factors were definitely excluded, like parents(genetics), accessibility(income), peers, environment, and more

Yes please. Elaborate the contrary. Thanks

So its much better to make our childrens enter school one year later .. at 7 instead of 6.

So… science says success compounds and that people with an early advantage are always further ahead, but your takeaway for the viewer is that if they aren’t successful despite being disadvantaged, it’s still their fault? Tf?
Living in a hypocritical society causes cognitive dissonance because recognizing that uncontrollable factors dictate our lives can lead people to feel helpless, realizing that their best efforts may only allow them to barely get by.
Bruh…stop. All he’s saying is if you are disadvantaged, your best bet to turn that around is to switch your perspective. Quit worrying about where to place blame, that isn’t anywhere near as important as fixing the disparity. Besides, there is NO ONE to blame. Nobody chooses what they’re born into, advantaged or not.
I'm not exactly sure how you came to that conclusion, as I never stated that it's anyone's fault. On the contrary, I've pushed the narrative, that a lot of it is out of our control, quite hard. And at the end, I've merely offered a tool, which is to change our perspective, to make the most out of our situation
900 views in 30 minutes, you fell off.
So sick of this lame "joke" .. try and think of something original to say.
