    Ingredients, Methods
    Use same cup for all measuring
    Gram Flour - 1 cup
    Sugar - 1,1/4 cup
    Oil and ghee - 1,1/4 cup
    gowrishop.com/...
    Use only sunflower oil
    Both should be totally 1 and 1/4 cup
    Water - 3/4 cup
    Mix oil, ghee heat it and keep aside with a laddle.
    Grease a depth plate with ghee keep aside.
    Take a thick bottom or non stick Kadai.
    Add sugar, water cook in high flame flame until it comes to one string consistency.
    Add gram flour, mix well. Cook in high medium flame, stir continuously.
    After 2 minutes, add little hot oil ghee mixture. Once it absorbs in a minute, add next batch. Continue the same, till oil ghee mixture finish.
    Now change it to plate at once.
    Keep the plate for 20 minutes. Now make lines as shown. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
    Now take it out as shown in the video.
    You will get 20 to 25 pieces for this measuring ( 100 gm flour)
    Tips
    Use new branded gram flour ( Nandhi or Sankar brands are good).
    No need to roast the flour.
    Grease the plate before you start cooking.
    Cook in high flame.
    Starting there will be lumps, don't worry it will go off.
    Oil ghee ratio can be adjust as per your wish, totally it should be 1 and 1/4 cup.
    Use only sunflower oil, other oils will give oil smell to sweet
    After 1 hour, if mysorepak does not set, it is in a Halwa consistency, change it to a kadai, cook for 2,3 minutes, again change to a plate, then it will be good.

    Maam for me mysore pak became powder though it was semi liquid stage.. What cud be the reason

      Hi.. Over cooked.
      Sugar syrup may be got more string consistency. Just allow the sugar completely melt.. Then add Flour.. Don't wait for one string consistency. Oil ghee mixture also not over heat.. Try in small quantity for few times.. Definitely you will get it.
      Even if you take out before, if it not set, you can cook again.. But if you over cook.. You can't do anything

    Hello Madam, I tried mysore pak for first time after referring to your video. I did a small mistake. So the sweet hardened a little bit but it came out very tasty like traditional mysore pak. My family and friends liked it. Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe.

    Excellent Delicious traditional recipe.. Is it ok to use raw gram flour without dry roasting for sometime? If we use oil will the taste will be as good as ghee Mysorepak? Tx a lot for ur detailed recipe card. Very useful. All ur recipes r very nice.👌👌👋👋🙏🙏

    Hi mam I tried this today don’t know where I got wrong it turned out like palkova in uthir form. I did it in heavy bottom kadai only but romba adi pudikara madiri brown agudhu also last 2 karandi oil n ghee absorb agala adhukulla therandu vara madiri vandhuchu high medium la vechen so medium change panirkunuma? Illena sugar string consistency thappa ayirkuma? Pls suggest n guide🙏🏻

      Hai.. You may be gone wrong with sugar string consistency or ghee oil mixture may be over hot.
      Try in little quantity for few times.. Then you will get right..
      Sugar syrup,.. Even you can put before one string.. Pisuku patham.. If it go more than one string consistency add 2,3 tbs water in syrup, mix and than add Flour.
      Oil, ghee should be medium hot.. Not boiling.
      When it starts foaming, even if you have oil ghee mixture more, don't add.. Stop cooking and remove from flame immediately.
      Whitish foam consistency is the final.. If you cook more it becomes crystal, leaves out ghee..
