Closest I get to following in your footsteps was doing Caffeine & Machine then onto the Isle of Wight, super fun and I messaged you on Instagram to tell you and you were good enough to message me back. Yesterday I went to Krazy Horse at Bury St Edmunds - superb few hours dreaming, eating and watching the bikes arrive. Your channel is an adventure programme, so it’s only a matter of time before I follow where you’ve taken us around Tenerife. I’m considering the new Royal Enfield Meteor Supernova, be the perfect touring bike around those Tenerife roads. Sunshine, heat, super jealous. Keep it coming.

Forecast here in Perth, Scotland was for wall to wall rain and had settled down to watch your Abama Tenerife video but miraculously the sun has come out here. Not quite th 30+ C and we could snorkel at the nearest beach but at around 10 C - hypothermic. Liked your "normal" day video with Monica. From there you can walk on the coast path ( bit of a scramble in places unless they have finished it) all the way to LosGigantes, takes a couple of hours but scenic and some bars along the way.

Hello from Berlin, Germany - love to see these old Mercedes. In the mid 1990s i worked for Europcar and as a car washer at Mercedes Benz. It wasnt paid well but it was fun to drive all these cool cars. So now I am attending driving school to get my license for motor cylcles, thats how I found your channel. Hahaha mitic Autobianchi, very rare car to see even in Spain. I remember one class-mate which mother , drove one of this. The guy father’s was a mechanic, and he owned a painting workshop, so every season he painted his wife’s car with different colours , yellow, violet, grey platinum …. Everyear it was like a clue to find which new colour it brought my class-mate mom’s. Isn’t it funny? Hahaaha i remember that car as a clown one 😂. Never saw other than that one in Spain, but in Naples i saw a couple of them. Btw, very funny and enjoyable channel on YT, Freddie!! Best regards from Granada!!
What no bike? Hoping it’s repaired within budget and back on the road soon. What a nice trip out to beach, drinks, food watching the sun go down over the Atlantic ocean, great vlog.
Once again great content , I live in El Medano , I'll look out for you , say hi 😁 Have you been to Abades yet , the old abandoned leper colony ? It's awesome, 😎 Hope you get your bike back soon my man 💪
You’re onto something different and good here Freddie - don’t go to launches, they all do that, stick with your own feel good unique stuff…you don’t need to become a slave to the bike manufacturers….leave that to those lesser channels that don’t have your natural watchability……
@@TheMissendenFlyer I don’t agree andy- I think Freddie would really bring a different perspective to it. Tell the story of the day- a bit like Richy Vida
There used to be lots of illegal houses on the coast but they have been removing them for the past few years. There was a motor home meet up place along from Alcala until they demolished some ruins and remade the path. Incidentally the path fromAlcala towards Gigantes has distances marked on it so you can check your walking distance and speed.
Hey Freddie dont panic over the bike. Sounds like easy stuff. I have watched on here about triumph gearbox problems but would be all the time not just puling off. Hopefully new chain and sprockets incl cush drive rubbers and new brakes not just fluid. If it needs it, it needs it. I think u will be ok. My experience of having car repaired in mainland Spain was E45 per hour a lot cheaper than uk. Wishing you well and satisfying reunification
Morning Freddie, I enjoy watching your vids and the content is well balanced enough to even get my lady interested, just enough bikes for me and bars/scenery/views for her! Any way the main reason for the comment is I watched a Sky documentaries film last night “missile from the East” about Ernst DEGNER. He was an East German motorcycle racer/ engineer who worked with Walter KAADEN, a brilliant engineer who pioneered two-stroke racing bikes. In 1961 Ernst defected with the help of Suzuki, and paid them back by using their engineering might and his knowledge to produce a bike that won the world championship in its first year (Suzuki’s bikes finished nowhere in 61). He crashed and was badly burnt later and faded from the racing scene. He retired to Tenerife and ran a car hire company on Tenerife, Arona., where he died in the early 80’s with loads of rumours around the Stasi(secret police) having killed him. There’s loads more to the story and a really good book, “stealing speed” by Matt OXLEY if you’re interested. Just thought as you’re living over there it might be of interest👍
Licor 43?Freddie, your B role is in the wrong order, armeñime first then Callao salvaje. Brilliant roads for cars or bikes. Lived there as a kid and used to muck about on all that land Don't think you want to know what goes on in those old buildings though. Back in the 80s and 90s it was bananas and tomatoes. Long since gone now. A lot is built up now Marazul is still the same as it was in the 80s and 90s. Love watching your videos. Makes me a bit home sick. If there was more to do there than tourism to earn a good living I would probably have stayed once ide done at school. Fingers crossed for the car too and good luck with the bike.
That’s it- Licor 43!🙂👌🏻👌🏻 Ahhh that’s really interesting- thanks for confirming what those buildings would’ve been. And very interesting to hear your point of view as an ex local of the island- thanks for sharing🙂🙌🏻
@@FreddieDobbs np mate. Licor 43 is a caramel liqueur if I remember right. Between that and the Ucanca banana it's all ide drink as a treat after helping my parents at their bar when I wasn't in school. There was or is a nice restaurant in that Disa or repsol filling station you passed between the playa paraiso and Callao salvaje roundabout not sure what effect Covid has had on it though. If you like wine too there is a vineyard up near Puerto de la Cruz called Bodegas Monje. They do some really nice wine and did a tour. Can't wait for next instalment

You'll need the correct papers (IE an EU passport) or a rather large wad of cash to move here now.. no FOM here or anywhere in the EU for UK citizens these days..
A cool vid! Good luck with Jeeps, remember what I told you.
A nice ¡puesta del sol!
Thank you, and I will do!🤜🏼🤛🏼
Greetings from cloudy Lancashire on Sunday am very refreshing put a smile on my face keep them comt and good luck with the bike repair and very special car loan 👍

One of my favourite classic cars, the 500!❤️ But weirdly I haven’t seen one in Tenerife, which amazes me!
Brilliant video I can’t wait to get back to that place. My sunset spot is a few bars up from papagayo. Called coco beach with an Havana 7 and Coke I recommend 🥃😁
Ah we’ve never been- thanks DG- we’ll save this spot🙂
Getting closer to 20t subs... Well deserved! Keep up the good work!👍
Hugely appreciated🙌🏻🙌🏻

That is a long walk from Papagayo to Los Christianos! But then I'm lazy and would've jumped in a taxi 😂
Another great video, wow what a contrast in weather we have a high of 11 here in Suffolk!!
Glad you posted your note, let's hope you get a response from the owner!!
Thought we were going to lose Monika with the cat again!!🤣🤣
I’ll try and not rub it in too much Darren!😆☀️
I have to keep a constant eye on Monika!🐈
@@FreddieDobbs lol.....
You enjoy that nice weather Freddie!! 😉😉
I think the cat lost out to the pizza that was waiting this time lol.....
@@darrenmcallister1307 Spot on- pizza always wins!😆
Thanks for brightening up a miserable rainy day in Scotland. Freddie you need to give up on the Merc. It’s a gonner!.
It’s so hard for me to accept it, ahhh but I know you’re right John!🚙
Super stuff.
That’s brilliant- so much work to paint the car every year, but I love it!😆
Hello over in beautiful Granada!
What no bike? Hoping it’s repaired within budget and back on the road soon. What a nice trip out to beach, drinks, food watching the sun go down over the Atlantic ocean, great vlog.
Thanks Shane- tomorrow I hope to have good news!🤞🏻🏍
Loads n loads of love from Dubai ❤️
You are making excellent video content keep them coming
Hugely appreciate Barry!!🙌🏻
You MUST go to Casona Bar & Grill at Los Cristianos, the best in town for sure👌🏻
Once again great content , I live in El Medano , I'll look out for you , say hi 😁
Have you been to Abades yet , the old abandoned leper colony ? It's awesome, 😎 Hope you get your bike back soon my man 💪
Licor 43 is also lovely over ice, you should try it that way sometime with a coffee.
Oooo I’ll try that!🙂
SL600 v12, lovely but would have the SEC, super cool those Freddie 😎
WOW! I didn’t realise it was the V12!!😳
As I expected the car show😁😍
Mm mm nice video, see you again soon 😘
You just saved Sunday morning. Country file was on ......cold,wet and depressing 🤣
Ahhh yes, Country File and some Rick Stein would be my norm in the UK!😀
Have a great day David!
Really enjoyed that Freddie, do you think you’ll get to any future launches?
Very good question. I’m not sure, but I’m ready and waiting if invited!
I do have two different bikes coming up next wee (one old and one new)!🙂
@@FreddieDobbs you subs are flying so fingers crossed eh
You’re onto something different and good here Freddie - don’t go to launches, they all do that, stick with your own feel good unique stuff…you don’t need to become a slave to the bike manufacturers….leave that to those lesser channels that don’t have your natural watchability……
@@TheMissendenFlyer That’s really insightful- thanks for sharing your experiences. I’ll remember this and will take your advice🙂🤜🏼🤛🏼
@@TheMissendenFlyer I don’t agree andy- I think Freddie would really bring a different perspective to it. Tell the story of the day- a bit like Richy Vida
The liquor in the barraquito is Licor 43, hard to find outside the islands.
So interesting!! Thanks Robert
Spooky. We were there yesterday afternoon too! here for a short break. In part due to this channel.
No way!😆. I hope you’re having a fantastic time!🙂
Hey Freddie dont panic over the bike.
That does put my mind at ease as you’re the second person to mention that I may be pleasantly surprised with the labour costs. Thanks Michael🙂
Like it👍
We love Pizza 100 social club. The calzones are bigger than Mt Teide 😂
Love the aesthetic of this video. How do you colour correct? It’s kind of saturated but not! Great work
Forget the socket set, I'll send a bucket and shammy instead :)
I looked forwards to you driving the borrowed car. Won’t be long :)
Cracking vid
The Jeep, baffed up, biffed up? You mean beefed up 😂 Great vlog as usual
That’s the one!😆. Thanks!🙌🏻
Damn you two look great out there!!! Monika are you still using the X pro 2 to film out there?
Thanks Bernard! Yep, the Xpro2 for all of the pics🙂📸
MY LORD!!!!!! Thank you for the heads up Kevin- this is fascinating! I will read up on this and try to do an episode about it🙂
Licor 43?Freddie, your B role is in the wrong order, armeñime first then Callao salvaje. Brilliant roads for cars or bikes.
Lived there as a kid and used to muck about on all that land
Don't think you want to know what goes on in those old buildings though.
Back in the 80s and 90s it was bananas and tomatoes.
Long since gone now. A lot is built up now
Marazul is still the same as it was in the 80s and 90s.
Love watching your videos. Makes me a bit home sick. If there was more to do there than tourism to earn a good living I would probably have stayed once ide done at school.
Fingers crossed for the car too and good luck with the bike.
That’s it- Licor 43!🙂👌🏻👌🏻
Ahhh that’s really interesting- thanks for confirming what those buildings would’ve been.
@@vrsmartin2981 I guess you're thinking of Ron Caramelo rum.. A nice chupito to end the meal..
@@vrsmartin2981 Amazing, thanks!!
Ah yes- I know the restaurant you mean at the Repsol station- I've been before!:)
Wondering if a 190E will appear anywhere...
Whether biked related or just a day in the life your videos are always enjoyable!
Thanks Paul!
And yes yes 100%- I see one or two a day if you can believe it!!! They just keep popping up on non filming days or bombing past on the motorway!
Freddie my wife and i are both in our mid seventies and she (i think she has a bit of a crush on you ) /we love the videos , look forward to the next one good luck to you both .its so refreshing to see you both enjoying your lives thanks for sharing it .
I’m delighted to hear it! Thank you both so much for watching the channel!🙂
We really are loving every day here🏝🙂👌🏻
