- A short video showing how I make my buttonholes by hand. In it I am using Agreman gimp which has been discontinued (there is an alternate available in Italy, I'll post when I have info about how to get it) and Gutermann's R753 silk twist. I also like Seta Bozzolo from Cucirini Tre Stelle.
Wonderfully helpful! I so appreciate you making this video; thank you for providing the link. I’m looking forward to making my first 100 practice buttonholes! ;)
Perfect 👏🏼👏🏼😃
Hello,
You said in description that there is an alternative to Agreman gimp, do you have the reference of this gimp?
Regards.
As a leatherworker I can say that you don't need a huge sledgehammer to use those punches. Average sized hammer or mallet is just fine. And of course, you better dont use them on the wood or they will become dull and even sledgehammer won't help, so get yourself some leathercrafting cutting matt or something like that
