This vongo v6 looks absolutely fire!!! At 6mm, The fresh foam X, and the inherent stability, I don’t think I’ve been so excited for a stability shoe in a while: puts the tempus too sleep 😴.
you guys are to blame for big companies charging us 190 dollars for a piece and EVA that is a foam from the 70's!!! you hear "new technology" and you cant wait to buy it.......im watching this video thinking is a all profit scam
So what does that film do? Seems that’s the only thing new here, the dual density foam, guidance are already done by other companies. I love my Tempus, corrects my over pronation without compromised bounce and weight. The new vongo looks sleek, want to see what it can actually bring into the game.
@@chadliu86 it because it’s a firmer surface that your foot lands on so it doesn’t break down the foam unevenly or brakes it down to quickly either. Which means it stabilizes the platform without using a posting or a dull density system. So you get way more responsive and a naturally feeling ride. Allowing for the fresh foam X to really show and with the 6mm drop and rocker it’s really good run super smooth for a stability shoe. I’m excited because it’s just beyond innovative, it’s kinda like a stability carbon plate system and it’s genius.
@@kawagonzo6951 it actually does something… read the comment below. Soooo no more lateral bias? Because I'm currently using the V4 and let me tell you: those shoes are great while running but they're a menace while walking. I've risked twisting my ankle so many times! It's enough for the ground to be just a few mm lower on the side that the shoe tips and that's frigging dangerous. They work great while running and the dual density in the midfoot really helps but that lateral bias is a bit too much imho.
Excited for this shoe. Liked the midsole package on the V5, but the upper was so poorly fitting. Really looking forward to checking this out when it comes out. Is that a woman's colorway? It is totally hot.

@@kawagonzo6951 Good job finding the negative in everything lol 1. The Vongo v5 is one of the best shoes for my biomechanics. 2. I never buy shoes at retail price, only on sale.
The Vongo definitely has the cushioning and protection to handle the marathon distance. It is built to be a daily trainer so its not going to be a fast/speedy race day option. But if you're looking for something reliable and comfortable to take on your marathon, it could be a suitable option. -Connor
I'm afraid that with all the marketing BS language about the upper without any substance to it it's gonna actually resemble the excessively soft upper of the v5... neeeext
The language around pronation is so extremely dated it's almost lying to consumers... Shoe companies need to do better. I'm 100% sure that these guys know that biomechanics of the feet are far more complex.

Really interested in the new stability system. I hope NB roll that out on the 860 too!

Weight vs V5?
I liked the idea of EVA film (or EVA plate) It will provide some stability but also possibly some snappiness like nylon plate in Endorphin Speed.
