    Pretty excited to get my Fox 2.5 coilovers for my 2021 JL Ecodiesel. Hopefully they will come in soon!

    Hey guys. Look, King shocks are sick but you guys have managed to sway me to Fox and I want the best out their. I am willing to go that route only if I can find bolt on for Gladiator Rubicon Diesel, I am trying to find a bolt on front Fox 2.5 or 3.0 coilover kit but no luck. Do you have to do some major cutting on the factory mounts and are your brackets able to get bolt on instead of welding? My goal is to do minimal cutting and zero welding. I am shooting for LCG "low center of gravity", lift from 3"-3.5" max, with the maximum flex possible while maintaining factory ride. Also would you guys be able to work with me if I want the rear to be Fox 3.0 Internal Bypass with DSC Adjuster Finned Reservoir. I will have a slip tank in the back with 30 gal capacity, if you do the math the ppg "pound per gallon on diesel is 7 pounds X 30 =210 pounds + aluminum tank 50 pounds. Ill have Dynatrac Hard Core Plus Pro Rock XD60/XD60 Axle Set 72.5" wide. Running 37-40" tires, also in the back Ill be running Rock Krawlers SilverBack with Triangulated rear. I know its a lot to ask for but I want it to be perfect.

      The only bolt-on kit we offer would allow for 2.0 Coilovers, which would be great for a daily driver that sees mild trails on the weekend. Our 2.5 Kit does require cutting and welding for the new brackets. Feel free to contact our sales team for more questions about the coilover kits we have to offer Sales@accutuneoffroad.com / 424-377-0808

    How much lift will the fox 2.0 dsc add to a stock jlur or are these height adjustable?

    • @accutuneoffroad
      @accutuneoffroad  3 года назад

      Height is adjustable, however we recommend a 3" front and 1.5" rear for a good leveled look with 5" of up travel.

      Front kit works for the Gladiators just fine, installed one today in fact. We should be getting the rear kit finished up soon!

    My wife really wants some coilovers for her Jeep. I keep hearing about coilover noise. What does the noise sound like, and how noticeable is it driving down the road? Offroad noise isn't a concern as everything creaks when we're articulating.

    • @accutuneoffroad
      @accutuneoffroad  3 года назад +2

      Hard to explain. Usually noise will come from the slider in btw the two springs, which can be upgraded to help with noise. Coilovers do not usually have rubber bushing mounts like stock shocks, so a little noise from those. To be honest, its really not that bad, especially considering its a Jeep.

      @@accutuneoffroad thank you! For a jlur that's daily driven on 37s would you suggest the 2.0 or 2.5 coilovers? Fox with dcs adjusters.

      @accutuneoffroad  3 года назад +2

      @@ProudPapaKY For mostly a daily driver, the 2.0 coilovers would work just fine. For lots of off-road driving & higher speed off-road, the 2.5 coilovers would be ideal.

      @@accutuneoffroad one final question. Are the coilover shock bodies anodized, or coated to protect against rust?

    So is the minimum cost for JL coilovers around $6k?

    • @accutuneoffroad
      @accutuneoffroad  2 года назад +1

      For the 2.5 Coilovers, yes thats correct. We do have more affordable 2.0 Coilover kit options as well

  • @DeadOnTrail

    Is there a 3.0 option with the ibps

    • @accutuneoffroad
      @accutuneoffroad  Год назад +2

      Not at this time. For most Jeep applications a 3.0 coilover would be overkill and would require more work to get them to fit & work properly.

      @@accutuneoffroad I've been looking at your site also... everything looks good! What would you recommend for the rear on a single coilover setup on trailing arm, 3 link. Shock will be mounted on trailing arm (ruffstuff urc 48"). I can't fit 2 shock due to single cab, short bed.. gonna stretch wheel base an inch also. Was thinking of 2.5 coilovers instead if 2.0 because I'm only using one. 86 toyota pickup 4wd, jd fab LT front on 2.5x8 kings. 600lbs springs. Truck stays pretty light in the bed.. maybe 300lbs of stuff.

      @@damnitdang Thats a very different setup than the JL kit in this video. I would suggesting going 2.5 in the rear on a motion ratio. I would also shoot over an email to our sales team, we can dive deeper into your build and get you some pricing and lead times on shocks. Sales@accutuneoffroad.com
