I checked them out in the store yesterday. And I like the bigger 46mm screen to watch and read, but I like the fit of the smaller 42mm when it comes to rolling down sleeves, jackets etc. so I think I’ll go for 42mm to make sure I wear it a lot comfortably. I also noticed that compared to the S9 the S10 is wider. Cuz it added 1mm on both sides. So keep in mind they look a lot more square and bigger now. The S9 41mm VS S10 42mm with bigger internal display is a stark difference. I would never get the S9 41mm or the SE now that I’ve seen the S10 42mm now. And the goal is to have a health and fitness tracker, some navigation and controls, not to consume media and articles on it that much.
I agree with you. I tried them both on (S9 & S10) and the thinner case makes a huge difference.. it just sits flatter..so much so I am considering the larger model, even though I felt that the S9 45mm was far too big. The smaller one is probably more comfortable though...its a hard choice!
I think 42mm is better for those that want to engage is fitness activities, while the 46mm is better for those who use the watch more as an extension of the phone. I personally went with the 42mm as I want the watch to blend into my wrist as much as possible. I primarily got my watch for fitness, a stopwatch, and sleep tracking, although I also use it for maps and music in my car.
Got 46 mm one and it’s great! Moving from the 42 mm Apple Watch Sport didn’t feel weird at all, and the 46mm one is thinner and just feels lighter overall. Love it!
Took a risk and got the 46 mm without seeing in person. I'm glad I did. It's a much better size, and I don't have the biggest wrists. It's not as big as it looks on tv. I used to have a 42mm Samsung watch, and it became too small after time. The bigger real estate on the 46mm is awesome!

In person, it really doesn't look that huge on my wrist because the watch is so thin. I think if it were thicker, like the Ultra or a G-Shock, it'd look to large. However, it's super light, and the larger screen size is beautiful. I even slept with it on and had no problems.

Bands for 38mm, 40mm, and 41mm cases are compatible with each other, and bands for 42mm, 44mm, and 45mm cases are compatible with each other. Bands for 46mm cases are compatible with 44mm, 45mm, and 46mm cases. Bands for 49mm cases are compatible with 44mm, 45mm, or 46mm cases. Bands for 44mm, 45mm, or 46mm cases are compatible with 49mm cases.
I would advise to try on both sizes before purchase. This case the bigger is not better especially if you have small to average wrist. I think it's more important to have a good fit on your wrist (as you are going to wear it all day long), than the amount information it shows per screen. I personally will go for the 42 mm size, but again, check and choose the right size for you, don't listen to those "bigger is better" voices.
Of course the bigger ones will have a bigger battery, but it cancels out because of the larger pixels it needs to light up. That’s why on the Apple website they rate both with the same standby time
Thank you for your comparisons.. I have vision issuee's and that's why I elected to go with the 46mm. Your review will help many out there that need help deciding on which one to buy. Thanks again.
My wrist circumference is 6.5 inches, and 46 mm fits comfortably without any oversized or “Ben 10” look. So, I highly recommend it if your wrist is up to 6.5 inches. I assume 6.3 inches can also fit because I can see more space on my 6.5-inch wrist, and I’m sure people with 6.3-inch wrists can also wear 46 mm. ❤
It's 1 mm larger horizontally and vertically. And 1 mm thinner. Take a look in person and you'll see it is quite different. In watches, 1mm makes a large difference.
I'm still waiting for someone to do a video on the jet black and if it scratches easy. I get it they are watches but I've had a midnight coloured one for 2 years and don't see any scratches on it. Hopefully someone can comment on this. Thanks
@@JudyV-c7r That size wrist is about the minimum you can pull 46mm off with. It's just less likely women would get in that region. Wrist size distribution by gender is heavily skewed. Watching your video wearing my Apple Watch Series 10 46mm in Jet Black 😊
@@kato1557 hi, what about scratches? Ive to decide with silver
Same size, just rose gold version 😂
I’ve got the 46mm Rose Gold
@@LottiexLou hello I have 7 inch wrist will the 46 fit good
I would advise to try on both sizes before purchase.
Any idea if the larger one had better battery.
@@MotoBites_with_Manas did you get the answer ?
@@PunaSaalyang nope.
Of course the bigger ones will have a bigger battery, but it cancels out because of the larger pixels it needs to light up. That’s why on the Apple website they rate both with the same standby time
@@arvs7356 in pixel watches, the larger one has considerably higher backup. So was hoping the story would translate here.
what size Milanese band should i get
130-180mm or 150-200 mm??
my wrist is around 180mm or 175mm
For 46mm titanium
Get the larger one.
@@RasenRambo23 ThankYou
Finally.. 42 vs 46… thank you
only thing i wanted to know was if the battery was different/and if they had the same real world life and he didnt mention it lol
42mm looks way better
Thank you for your comparisons.. I have vision issuee's and that's why I elected to go with the 46mm. Your review will help many out there that need help deciding on which one to buy. Thanks again.
Am I the only one who think the ultras screen still looks bigger than the 10’s 46mm?
It’s an illusion.
Very good video!
42mm 🎉
I have an average sized man's wrist. The Ultra looks fine but feels a little too tall and bulky. I'll be swapping it for the 46mm series 10.
It´s just me or series 10 have humongous bezels against series 7, 8 and 9?
I'm getting the 42 with sport strap. 46 too big for me
waiting for apple watch battery test!😀
I’m going for the titanium Rose gold
I went from a 41 mm to a 46 mm. Is it worth the bigger size? Yes.
we need durability test

Thanks for including wrist size. Also prefer the smaller version with same size wrist, the bigger feels bulky.
9:10 thankfully i wear mine before the wrist bone that sticks out, so I should have that problem
I have the 46mm and a s/m band and it looks like the 42mm watch it’s so small
i love how apple hypes everything up. It is point 2 mm bigger this year ! Look at it side by side you almost see no difference.
It's 1 mm larger horizontally and vertically. And 1 mm thinner. Take a look in person and you'll see it is quite different. In watches, 1mm makes a large difference.
Which app is that ?
I'm still waiting for someone to do a video on the jet black and if it scratches easy. I get it they are watches but I've had a midnight coloured one for 2 years and don't see any scratches on it. Hopefully someone can comment on this. Thanks
I’m getting my nanny the 46mm Rose gold series 10 Apple Watch for her birthday
I'd think twice about that size for a woman.
@@RasenRambo23 I'm a woman and just bought the 46mm. I have a 7" wrist. So far, love it!
@@JudyV-c7r That size wrist is about the minimum you can pull 46mm off with. It's just less likely women would get in that region. Wrist size distribution by gender is heavily skewed. If I know nothing about someone but the gender, it's just more likely than not the small size is going to fit women better.
