I am still unsure which one to choose. Sadly for me Apple now makes two sizes of their products: one too small and one too big. 44mm was perfect for me.

I have a 7-inch wrist, and since I wear suits a lot for work, I don’t want my watch to make me look like Ben 10 when paired with a suit. Maybe I’m overthinking it because I’m used to wearing more traditional watches which are 40mm and 42mm for work.

Honestly, I don’t regret it at all. It looks amazing! I use it at the gym when lifting, and I barely notice it’s there. More importantly, I can wear the 42mm with a shirt and cuffs without it looking ridiculous, unlike the 46mm, which feels like having an iPad strapped to your wrist. To me, the watch complements my phone. I don’t need to read a message and then respond on the watch. If I get a message or email, it’s just a prompt to pull out my phone or laptop; I’m not watching videos on a watch, so I don’t need a larger screen. That said, take my opinion with a grain of salt: I wear traditional watches (I’m a watch guy) and prefer more classic sizes. The 42mm works better for formal attire, in my opinion. I can wear it to work on the Milanese strap, and it looks amazing while offering more functionality than a traditional Swiss watch, which is really just jewelry in 2024.
But keep in mind, I’m a watch person so I tend to overthink my watches but most people won’t care what you have on your wrist or its size. This is just my perspective.
Ultimately wear whatever you want of course. My brother’s wife has tiny wrists and wears the large. The watch is physically bigger than her wrist. The strap drops at a sharper angle than vertical drop from the “lugs”. Honestly it looks ridiculous but… that’s fine. She likes it. The rule of thumb is that as long as the strap “wraps” around your wrist (doesn’t drop vertically) it’s ok. For the 46mm I would say that 6-6.5” wrist is probably around the minimum wrist size for that watch. Ya it might look “better” on a larger wrist 7”+ but you can’t get away with it down to about 6-6.5”. But again… totally up to you. Like have a 6.5” wrist and buy the large ones and they look fine to me. I was worried the S10 might be pushing it but it’s only 1mm taller and I tried it on and it’s fine. I hope they don’t make it any bigger though,
My boyfriend's wrist is small, but I bought him the 46mm version in jet black for his birthday. I hope he likes it😅

Small is always better. I wear 23 hours day and light and small goes a long way. I wore 41mm since 7 came out.

@@taygirl1000I bought the 10 and the ultra 2 in black. The 10 will last me 2 full days after full charge. I got the 42mm. Sometimes I forget I’m even wearing it bc it’s so slim and light. I’ll be keeping the 10 and returning the ultra 2. Ultra 2 has bigger battery but it’s too bulky.

I'm contemplating getting Silver or Jet Black. I'm on the fence still waiting for people to advise on how prone to scratches the Jet Black watch is.

Slight correction. The watch bands are sadly not titanium, but seem to be stainless steel. You can see it if you check the product information.
I wanted the Ultra 2 in black but I’m apart of the “dainty wrist crew” so 42 will have to do.
I got the 46mm and love it. I came from a 45mm. It doesn’t seem that big to me. The 10 is definitely lighter and I love the jet black with my sport loop band. I have all color sport loop bands. Great review
I have always gone for the bigger screen but due to my wrist tattoo my watch has to sit a little lower on my wrist and the bigger screen was always uncomfortable and weird looking on my small wrist so I did 42mm this time and loving it!
I had got the 46MM the other day but went bk the same day and got the 42MM the 46MM looks nice but it didn’t feel right on my wrist

I have issues with my watch causing my wrist/arm to hurt even though it’s not tight and where it’s supposed to go, but I want to pick up the 42mm because it’s lighter, hoping if I do it’ll help this issue.
42mm for my 5.5 inch wrist, but I also got an ultra 2 to try on for size. It’s comically large, but oddly enough, it’s also growing on me.
What's crazy is that this year's "small" size was the "large" size in the original Apple Watch; they launched in 38mm and 42mm. I had a 42 back then, have had a 44mm Series 4 since that came out. I'm seriously debating going back down in size this time, probably going to go into the store to try them on first.
That jet black will scratch super easily though.

I have the Apple Watch Series 5 40mm and I have loved it. My wrist is tiny and the big one is too big. I will get the series 10 in the 42mm. Rose gold is my pick.

This chick’s little 4.14 inch wrist is pushing it to handle the 40 mm SE 2…lol. Gonna get the 42 mm aluminium, in either black or silver. Like rose gold if it's more like starlight. I will know when I see them in person. Great video, new sub here Ty👍

You said the band is Midnight. Are you sure about that? Think the Midnight is an older colorway and the new one coming with the Series 10 is Ink, right? Also, would Sport Loop be good for gym and physical activities, or would the sweat absorb making it hard to clean? Does cleaning involve just sticking them in the washer?

42 on a 10 is the same as 44 on the earlier size?

46mm all the way! I’m more torn on materials.
I’ve scratched both screen and casing on 3 regular AWs (S4, SE and S7). My Ultra 1 has 0 scratches. I wanna swap to S10 for the smaller bulk, but if I don’t go titanium I fear scratches again.

A little odd, but I used to be an Android user but switched to iPhone last year and have been using my old Samsung Watch 3 but have been thinking about getting the new series 10. The watch works for notifications, but it's slow and has been somewhat off with fitness tracking. My galaxy watch 3 is a 45 mm watch, but I wasn't sure how the sizes compare between the two since they're different style cases. I have a 160 mm wrist if that means anything.

Thought I was just an average sized guy but my wrists seem to be significantly larger than other people's on here at 8 1/8". Was thinking about going with the more compact 42mm size but my wrist size is over the 200mm max (42mm Fits 130‑200mm wrists) so I think I would have no choice here but to go with the larger 46mm size.

46mm should be for people with large wrists, 7.5inch and above, or in some cases if your not able to see clearly because you have bad eyes.
Or, in other cases, if you’re just fond of large watches and want the bigger screen

Just get the series 10. It will be more future proof and the benefits are nice over the series 9. Money comes and goes.

I was pondering getting the more streamlined 42mm because my Asian wrists are 165mm (been shopping for a lot of straps online 😂) I guess in inches comes to about 6.5 in.
But I'm sticking to my guns and getting the 46 bc I just like the. If screens. Funny though I have a IPhone 11 regular and I was actually pondering using my smaller iphone 8 bc it's smaller. lol

Just ordered the 42mm. Go for it. Much more lighter and doesn’t stick out. One thing i noticed is it displays the same amount of info apart some texts.

What are the sport loops like for going in water?
I haven’t went swimming but I have gotten them wet on multiple occasions and the dry off well. But that’s as far as my water experience goes with them
They’re fine in swimming pools. The velcro wears over time, so be cautious swimming in open water.

I honestly think 46mm looks appropriate for wrists 7.4 inches and above, 7inch and below 42 will always look much better unless you have issues with your eyes and need the bigger screen to read the text then go with 46.
