I'm struggling with which tank to play. I hear Blood Mage, Vanguard and Witch Hunters are really good right now but I want something that I actually enjoy playing. Will be doing more testing soon. Venomancer is fun but it's just druid 2.0
Level 60 phase comes out June 13th its totaly worth checking out now and if you don't want to pay for it with money you can always play on the live realms and buy CoA with gold, the game mode is fucking amazing the design on all classes is so good they all feel unique and yet they feel like WoW classes i just find myself feeling like i'm back in 2005 trying all the classes to see what they do with a grin on my face.
Coa is amzing so far. Many many changes occured for the best. I only play 3 classes. They are SO different one from the other, it feels very good. First time i saw my cultist going insane and being able to burst heal in the BG, being focused and die but doing so much before made me feel so good ! 😅😂
I both like and hate this idea. I can't remember what server it was, but I played a server with a bunch of custom races including ogres and naga... and everyone just started the game in the same starting zone, a custom one, and it felt clunky and lazy. I think the Ascension team could do an awesome job eith custom races. But I also wonder if that would break the game.
I haven’t played this game yet, just watched lots of videos. But the world does not seem dangerous. Your character is too powerful where death doesn’t happen often at all. Seems too much like Retail WoW in that aspect, which I don’t like. I wish the world was more dangerous, like in vanilla WoW.
@@CCCCOMBOxBREAKERyou can be deep into something and still be clueless. For example his latest ascension videos where he spent however many rerolls on TALENTS while wanting to roll an ability and then complaining he didn't roll it. There's also stuff like basically copypasting other people builds, changing like 1 or 2 things to make them "my own take"... Mcdoubles is a content creator for the "average" player. I used to love his videos but as I got better at ascension I just started seeing how much nonsense he's spewing.
@@The_Yukki He is very much meta slave too, doesn't help that is super huger bias for ascension of microtransaction and broken economy, broken pvp and pve balancing and community that is pretty toxic, that my family lost interest to it on day 1!
@@greenchilistudioz4537 for me the novelty ran out pretty quickly too. Though it did take taking a jab at endgame. Seeing same builds over and over took the wind out of me.
Very good video !! 😊 I am looking forward for CoA release open testing or at least they could make 2 months open beta for everyone after they release 60 to faster catch up more bugs and regulate the balance… Hope one day i would actually afford having CoA of my own 😂
I love the 21 classes lore based and new talent system... but, being honest... ALL the classes are extremely op, so retail feeling. I dont need to interact with anyone as soon as I one hit every mob, have 3 stuns, stealth, healing, tanking, mobility, ultra combos to delete... and that is not only killing world interaction between players. In PvP is: "ey, I saw u: trhow on u 4 instant abilities and then stun u, then proc another effect that heals my party to full, then stun u again, then 4 instant abilities again" ===== the guy who hit first, wins. "Man, I feel so powerful, have 50 abilities and each one delete the enemy player!"
I mean, the abilities and class design is great in my opinion. The world and dungeos are things that needs to be adjusted to match power of the classes. Although i do agree that for example classes have too much self healing and utility sometimes. Like for example most of the classes i have tried have disarm. I feel like those should be more uniqe for each class.
CoA class designs are cool and fun to play. They're trying to introduce a new role too: the "support" which I think it could bring some fresh air. But leveling content is way too easy (while manastorm I think is neither too hard or too easy) it is more of chore than anything else. I hate that I enter a dungeon and the party just steamrolls everything without even stopping 😑 just by that design some classes are ruled out of dungeon runs. Like casters for instance. It may change at 60 but I can't level up as a class that have no instant casts because I would be left behind everytime I would try to cast anything. Also in dungeon leveling content there's absolutely no need for supports either. My 2 cents on the matter
Yeah, unfotunately the 1-60 content is not being looked into, which is a shame. Most of their focus goes into endgame, and as we see on seasonal realms, they rather icrease the speed of leveling because of prestiges rather then making it harder. THis is still alpha but it would be nice if leveling content was adjusted accordingly to the power of the classes.
The one thing that holds me back from getting it is the potential population issue I see. I wouldn't want to invest money or gold into C.O.A if there are not enough players in it. The classes sound great absolutely... but what's the point if queuing up for bgs, dungeons, and etc is going to be a drag? Thanks for the video keep it up brother.
In peak times the population is pretty decent! But I would advise not to buy in if population is your issue right now, as there are plenty of times I see people in world chat asking others to queue for activities.
I hnestly think that with level 60 release a lot of people will come, cuz there will be endgame content avaliable for testing, and full class potential open.
No, that would make tbc and wrath unplayable, flying is required for some of the content, especially in tbc, plus the zones in those expansions are several times larger than vanilla zones, flying is needed to traverse these zones quickly.
@@Egghead012 point being that they would have to make their own content variations. You can covert or overhaul Outland and Northrend biomes into having accessibility for ground only mounts. If they can adapt classes there is no reason they can’t adapt map zones and end game content like raids. Think Duskhaven.
What's the point of all classes if both open world and instances are based on WotLK in terms of balance? World is mind numbingly easy, so much even my wife who played WoW for the first time in her life, told me it's just pointless after a few weeks, just not engaging. We are now playing duo a combination of Adventure + Resolute modes, and let me tell you the ugly foundation of WotLK still shows. And the dungeons... you get 60/70 levels of the most boring chore ever before you can do Heroics, which are only marginally more interesting. How about, I don't know, making it engaging from the start? And there is no such thing as exploring the dungeon too, you are just put on rails with every "run", just run through a linear corridor. My hopes and dreams go to Project Epoch team, I know they spent a crazy amount of time down-scaling all the WotLK items, monsters, etc to TBC stats and then made adjustments after that too. They may not have 21 classes, but I'd rather have the WORLD of warcraft, thanks.
Hey Man! I do understand Your point and agree with it. The world should be more engaging and difficult, but let's face it. Difficulty on Ascension is hidden in Endgame Mythic+ and Raid Trials. Manastorms that have been introduced are also quite difficult on higher levels. If this was x1 server and leveling was big factor in it, then maybe they would put more focus on it. Only 3? Haven’t played this but 3 classes in classic would’ve been 3 full time jobs with built-in overtime in each.
I'd love them to go beyond custom classes and add custom races to CoA too, can you imagine a Naga Necromancer or a Ogre Reaper?
Yeah races would be cool, but would prefer if they made more custom vanilla+ stuff into the game. Expanding things blizzard scrapped back in Vanilla.
I'd love this so much. New custom races would put CoA miles above other private servers.

how much do I actually have to pay to play on the server? no one puts this simple information in the CoA videos.........
Currently it's 50% off, which means 50dp. To get 75dp You need to pay 25$ as cheaper ones will give You only 45$
So they intend to keep manastorms? How does this not kill the game?
What are Manastorms ?
It would be nice to make it lvl 60 only. Endgame is instanced anyways.
dungeon leveling is instance and already dead with fake healers, impatient tanks on server that made dungeon queues shit in first place on Elune lol

I am struggling so bad with picking a main class!!! so many fun cool things to pick from!
yeah, the best thing is that i tried already many of them and all are really cool.
The owner of the server would play wc3 Azeroth Wars alot, sure he got the idea from that
I dowloaded the client and only have 8 classes to choose from at creation screen. What am I not following? help please. Thanks
strange, try to clear cache in launcher options.

How do you expect for them to develop the server with no funds? Do you do your job for free? It's not like they are making a little mod.
