This video is really helpful, thanks a lot! & People who are worried about the time in getting your status approved, it varies, in the video it took 2 hours to get approved, for me it took about 15 hours to get approved & for you it may take just 1 hour or even a day & most importantly the URL submitted by you shouldn't exist on the primary website (for example if you want to remove a photo from google images whose primary website is twitter it shouldn't exist on twitter only then it comes under the category OUTDATED), hope your problem gets solved ❤️

I searched for remove my youtube google account images and this channel popped up, few thumbs down also had same issue, this is misleading, should say google search images or google internet images. I saw your video and used the process to remove my picture from the google search result through the Google Search console. My Request status is Approved but still can see my picture in a google search. Will it get deleted?

That depends on the status change given to you by Google.
The first link gives "Request a refresh of outdated content in Google Search" but I want to remove the content not refresh.
please help me. i used this method and it worked but i have another issue. i pinned a picture on pinterest and it shows up when i search my name. i deleted the pin as well as my whole pinterest account and when i click the image it says pin not found but when i click on the link on the bottom it takes me to the original account where the picture came from which i have no control over. please help i just want this image to not appear when i search my name😭

Your English is fine Fiqqllency, you don't have to keep the tab open, you can close it. It took me 12-24 hours for the pending status to change.

@@Websplaining Hello! So regarding my issue. The picture that I removed was from Slidely, and it was a hundred percent can't open on Slidely. When my request for removal succeed, a couple of days later, it showed again on google, and "2 days later" were indicated on my picture.
"If you’re sure that the image has been modified or removed, you can submit this request. The image will be updated the next time Google visits the page.", said when I tried to request for removal again. But when I requested last time, it was smooth and not a single "this page still exists" showed up.

Just a question! I have a Reddit post with a photo of myself on Google images, I didn’t delete my Reddit but I’ve deleted the post. Do I have to delete my Reddit or was deleting the post good enough?
Deleting the post was good enough, as long as the original photo isn’t available on any link or page and is only showing up on google images
Removing it from the original source is the only prerequisite required for a successful request to remove outdated content.

If you want the image removed from Google Image search only, then removing the image from the original source and requesting removal of outdated content is the right procedure to follow. If you're successful with your removal request the duration for the removal process depends on Google.

As long as the information that you want removed is not on the original site and is only on Google image search.

@@shreeyankababoo2858 That depends on Google. There are many parameters that affect the length it takes to be removed from Google Search/Image Search. You will however get a status change from Google relatively quickly.

Hi Feras, it is hard for me to say with the minimal info you have provided. I recommend reading this web page on the Google help centre to make sure you're entering the correct URL/Link when submitting a removal request to Google for said picture. There's no longer the option to enter a word that no longer appears on the live page but appears in the cached version

@@user-ll8jg6pg9g True, I am not sure if this is positive or negative change, however less inputs are always positive changes in my book. I'll test it out and eventually release an updated video. On first glance the UI looks super clean and streamlined. A great upgrade for the tool by Google.

The image has to be removed first from the original source. I would contact that person and kindly ask them to remove it.

At 11:20 you changed the new picture URL with the old one by changing the name, but how can I know the name of my old profile picture on twitter? (URL)
For Twitter just use your profile name or any piece of text on your twitter page has that's been changed. Bio text works too if that has been changed since then.

I would advise contacting the webmaster who uploaded the image.
