Use a stiffer co-poly (Dunlop Explosive Power 16 or 17 for example), it will bring back some feel and pop to the frame.
I have been using Pure Aero (from the very begining APD and previously PD) and got my 25 ezone100 this Jan. I do agree all of your finding but i keep using it since i get it. I can really feel nothing of the ball since begining but after around 10 hours and 5 different string setup now actually i can feel the ball now. I can say I can fell like the ball extremely will with my 23PA, but when in denfensive rally i still have to concentrate on how to maximize to hit on sweet spot otherwise i will just fail. But to Ezone now i can just be so relaxed to hit anyball at any part of the string bed it will just go inside of the court. I am sure with PA23 doing winner is so perfect but life is harder to do any denfense and off sweetspot hitting really do a lot of shock to my arm. I use hard poly with 38 lbs so noting more can do shock absorption with string. On ezone life is way much easier I don't need to thing anything on denfense i just need to run to reach the ball. Hitting winner is less felling but a winner is still a winner. I so understand I cannot get perfect ball touch and feeling and a very good and relaxed denfense at the same time. PA make me feels good but Ezone made my game way easier. BTW EZ is so friendly to my arm.
Nice thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it!🎾🎾
aero23 small sweetspot? are you on something bud?
@@akbarberlian Haha what i mean is it is smaller relative to an EZONE
Nice intro!!🙌
Thanks a lot!!
I have one ezone 100L 2025, it s a fantastic racquet for sure, no doubt about that! Very confortable, power, control...your title needs one editation for sure!
Ahah I have to change it to "why the Ezone 100 is great!" Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
Recommend for one handed back?
Yes if you have trouble generating your own power!
Please recommend this ezone 100 string. I want to minimize muted feel
Great question! Völkl cyclone or Solinco tour bite could be great🎾🎾
I switched from the previous version and I feel the new one as a significant improvement - I have more power on my hits without them going outside the court and much less tension in my hand and at the same time I feel it is more maneuverable when playing. For me, this is definitely one of the best rackets on the market for intermediate players. My wife plays with the Gravity MP 2025 and when I test her racket I understand how much less power I have on my serve and finishing shots with the Head, if you want comfortable brutal power, get the Ezone 100 2025 :)
Thanks for your feedback!!🎾🎾
does this gen of the ezone taper towards the throat of the frame? i used to vibe with yonexes but i can't find anything that plays like my old rqis frames.
@@bryanvaughn80 no unfortunately I feel like they are not going back to what it used to be in terms of feel…
I need a comfortable racket to prevent arm problems, so i am playing the Clash 100 Pro....but now i am looking for a racket with more power than the Clash....do u think, the new ezone coueld be right for me?
u need put 17kg for start, and change string one time by month
I have arms problems , so I bought the new ezone100. I love it. Yeah, the feel it’s dampened but it’s so plush and comfortable. I love the feel and also it has good control, despite being a powerful racket. Volleys are very stable and smooth too. Go for it.
Its gonna be similar but you can at least try to demo it to see if you can like it more!!
Do you think the ezone 98 is better? I am trying to decide between vcore 98 2023 and ezone 98 (2022 or 2025)
Me too, new Ezone 98 or the current Vcore 98. I find the Ezone can be too powerful at times resulting in hitting long!!
@@anisharora85 I haven’t tried the 98 yet! Maybe next week I’ll be able to answer!!
@AlexTennisChannel Thanks Coach Alex!!
@@AlexTennisChannelWill be interesting to see what you think as the 98 has the same updated technology as the 100 so the feel should be the same on that basis?
I tried the ezone 100 2022 and Vcore 98 2023 so far and to me the feeling on ezone 100 wasn’t too nice. Felt a bit artificial and pingy. The vcore 98 was definitely a better racket for me.
Old ezone vs percept 100? Which one do you like more?
Percept 100 because you feel more connected to the ball and it’s underrated in terms of spin potential!
Have you seen any new trends in tennis coaching for the new year? lots of coaches talking about teaching to the individual, I would hope that's something they have been doing all along! thanks Coach Alex 💯🎾🙋♂️💪☑️
@@nathanmiller6051 Yes it’s true! I have also seen coachs at Tennis Canada really working on feel. For example try to slice a serve out on deuce side. Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
@AlexTennisChannel 💯🙏 Cool!!
Sorry you didn’t gel with the new Ezone. I bought the new 100 and like you didn’t enjoy the overly muted feel at first. But it’s a very consistent and powerful racquet. After adding a leather grip to mine it has decent feedback.
Forgiveness, comfort, spin and power it has all of the above.
Only if they can figure out how to give it a bit more feeling. 😂
Adding a leather grip is a great idea for sure! Maybe playing with a tinner string gage could help!! Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
This racquet, maybe you won’t like the feel, but your opponents won’t like the ball coming back faster than ever before!
Maybe!
I was hoping it would be like a clash.
The closest to the clash that it ever been!
Ezone 100 top
@@marioettorre9168 💪💯
Complains the racquet has no feel...admits its the strings.
Uhhh no I’ve played with PolyTour pro a lot in my life and even got the chance to try it along with the previous Ezone 100… thanks for watching 🎾🎾
@@AlexTennisChannel you in fact said " it could be the strings"
Yes because the string will always influence a review
Calling an Ezone 100 a "not so good" racquet sounds like calling Djokovic a not so good player.
At first sight.
But I kinda get the point. I still have an Ezone Tour (2022) in my bag, and not only do I not need a dampener, I don't feel any difference except the added weight.
VDM and the high stiffness was the only downside of the Ezone, and so many players wish the DR back, a true legend.
And what was different with the DR? You guessed right, low RA and no VDM.
And what did Yonex do? Keeps the high RA and VDM.
Could have been so much better. Although I haven't played the Ezone 100, and I am not looking forward to trying.
But my clubmate has. His play already went up when changing from Clash (V1) to Ezone 100 (2022), but when he demoed the new one, his shots went from solid to brutal.
So it can't be THAT bad.
Not sure if he will switch, I hope he won't.
@@sebastiandomagala9233 no obviously it’s still a great racquet but I feel like Yonex are trying to target a wider audience which is not by any means bad
@AlexTennisChannel I don't know if the target audience of those who need an extra comfortable racquet is bigger than the group of skilled enthusiasts who would ruin themselves if the DR makes a comeback.
I just remember that Yonex have terminated the Astrel line, so the Ezone is their new granny stick as well.
They could have reserved that role for the bigger head sizes, but they didn't.
So, yeah, the Ezone now serves late beginners.
