This is Dweezil, Frank Zappa's son. a lot of the band changes regularly and a lot of the time, if they're available. original members of Frank's band, The Mothers join in, on this occasion Napoleon Murphy Brock on flute and vocals. To give some context. Dweezil grew up with people like Steve Vai, Joe Walsh, Johnny guitar Watson and a host of other great guitarists, hanging out around his house visiting and playing with his dad. For his school prom performance Dweezil played Eddie Van Halen's Eruption guitar solo. with Eddie in the audience. He is a genuine stunt guitarist in his own right but is content to plod along doing his aul fella's stuff for people like me around the world and we love him for it. Particularly impressive is the live version of Zombie Woof with Steve Vai on stage with him and quite a lot more original Mothers.
@@HuntingOWLgames There are rabbit holes and there are rabbit holes. this rabbit hole, should you choose to go down it, is the most labyrinthine of the lot. Frank's catalogue is immense and is quite simply a work of genius. the bands and musicians who put it all together with him were all top class. If you love guitar you will soon appreciate this stuff. Happy Hunting.
@@HuntingOWLgames I'm no stranger to the music of the Corkman. I live just over the way in Waterford. It's good that you suggested I listen to him though. He is a criminally ignored musician.
Do more Zappa!! I’ve been looking for ages for someone to do a complete listen/reaction of his ‘rock opera’ album Joes Garage. The penultimate song is possibly my all time favourite 👌
Not as good as the original Frank Zappa version, it's good but ultimatly it's a copy, you should check out the original with better vocals by the late great George Duke
Give Zappa plays Zappa, with Stevie Vie, the song Zombie Wolf a listen. You will be blown away.
