Considering the Stark suit lasted from Civil War to Far From Home- I hope this one just becomes his default suit until Tom Holland’s eventual exit from the role. He can have story specific alternate suits like the black symbiote but otherwise I want him to always return to this
The Stark Suit only lasted from Civil War 'til the beginning of Infinity War though. The only time we see it in FFH is in Peter's suitcase.
And I can guarantee you that this new suit will not last longer than 1-2 movies, 'cuz Superhero costumes are usually changed every single movie

i think both Tom's new suit and Andrew's TASM 2 suits are accurate to different points in spidey's history, Andrew to Ultimate, Tom to Romita/Ditko

On the contrary. Steve Ditko was an absolute genius when he designed the suit. Other “faithful” suits have been done before, and it’s usually for comedic effect (with the exception of Superman ‘78). Captain America during the propaganda scene, Loki variant with comic colors, Thor during his flashback running scene in L&T. Also consider Black Widow’s original costume (before the black spandex). Adam West’s Batman is also “comic accurate” too.
My favourite aesthetically is still the Upgraded Suit from Far From Home. Love how the black goes with the red and the white emblem on the back. It's a remix of what we all love and it does it amazingly imo.
It's also the original first spiderman suit just techbased
I feel like the silver webbing pattern on The Raimi suit is good for realism as real life spiders have bright white webs where as in the comics back then you couldn't make white web lines look as good on Spidey as black ones since comics weren't as advanced in the 60s

While I enjoyed the raised webbing I always preferred the black to the silver. I especially didn't like how later on they made the lenses silver as opposed to black. Personally I think Spider-Man (2002) and NWH were the best versions of the Raimi suit.
I heard that the gray/silver lining on the Raimi suit were made cause the red was way too bright when seen on camera
The Silver webbing was to help with the cameras back in the day. The red was to bright on the suit and black webs didn't show up that well.
Literally the only thing really keeping it from being perfect for me is the back spider not being closer to the classic comics or what we got in Homecoming.

And Tom's no way home final suit is a nice classical feel, gives that shiny fresh new feel to it
I agree with ur points but, I can say that toms suit still not exactly give classical feel because the shine is too much or lets say too lighter color that prevent having black shades that comics have , and the webbing is unvisible from far that make it look like toy or CGI due to being fully ,
if raimi had more dark grey webbing and it had classical symbols on front and back and if we make the blue areas little bit more vibrant (not too much) and make the perimeters of lens more dark (not fully black), it would feel exactly like classical mature iterations on comics like steve ditko etc.
There is a fact that In real life we exagerate colors more than they are, for example when we look at a tree, we see/percieve it as green, actually its quite dark green most of time, and when we go draw it on picture we use vibrant green, so actually its wrong to fully put same color that we see on paper to real life because humans perception of colors in brain is automatically exagerated in our minds. Our mind or perception saturate and brighten colors we see in real life, so its actually more accurate to put darker colors in real life coutnerparts.
The primary thing that bugs me about the Tom Holland masks is that the lenses are embedded into the mask as opposed to placed on top. It really makes the face look less three dimensional and makes Tom's head look too much like a Spider-Man Balloon. I think Insomniac's lenses execute the same concept as Tom's in a far better way since they have more depth and curvature. Plus, we're supposed to believe that Peter doesn't wear a face shell, it really breaks immersion if his lenses clearly sit in one. They should really change up the lenses moving forward, at the very least just copying Insomniac's homework.
i think there's the actor's face factor. Tom Holland has more like square'ish round face, as opposed to previous spidermen. Tobey and Andrew both have a narrow face, it make's the face shell that was made for Tom looks a bit bloated I think, there fore the result while adding the mask, it gets bigger and balloon-like.
But maybe your point about the eyes is right as well

@@nikonick8425 Tom's head is a bit wider, but I think the costume department could definitely do him some favors by redesigning the lenses and mask shape. His Homemade suit is a great example of this. His head looked pretty normal in it, largely due to the lenses and maybe a different face shell.
exactly, lack of 3d elements are a issue making it not comic accurate, he should have 3d webbing plus projected more 3d lenses so when we look from far it still let us see the web lines and doesnt feel like a cgi toy
the only complaint I would have is unnecessary lines in blue sections and eyes could be bigger but the eyes are the same for all tom holland suits
I don't think there are lines on the blue part anymore with the final suit in nwh I could be wrong but at the moment I sure it doesn't. Also the eyes are actually the exact same design in the comics. Specifically John romita sr and Gil Kane. I personally think it's perfect but eh not for everybody which I get

The only thing I’d change is the back spider logo and MAYBE the type of blue but we always get a darker blue so it’s nice to see a bright, shiny blue for once
Suit would've been a 10/10 if it had the homecoming/classic back emblem, for now its a 9.5/10 just for that one tiny nitpick I have with it.

There’s only two things I’d change about his new suit. One would be to not make the outline of the red parts mimic how it used to look (with the parts near the belt, chest and shoulders). Second would be to just use the stark suit back logo but without the circle it has in it. But besides that it’s perfect, and I hope the blue is shiny with the material they use Bc that would look so good
I still can't tell if the Spidey symbol is gold or black. I really hope it's black because the gold just looks weird.

I got more brown than gold and since spiders are brown, I get it. I think it'll be brown in some lights and black in others.
I'm kind of confused with the new Tom Holland suit. Some pictures show a gold Spidey symbol and others show a black symbol. I really hope it's the black symbol because the gold one just looks weird. It also just could be the lighting.
The Funko shows the black version. I'm pretty confident this is accurate.

What I love about Tom's final suit is the nods to his older brother's Peter 2 and 3 and while I'm personally more of a fan of a darker shade of blue this is my favorite suit of Tom's

I think that this suit is the perfect blend of comic-accurate suits and the movie suits. It meets in the middle, and the use of the back logo (being almost the same as the front) is a testament to this Peter's inspiration from the Spider-Men he met in NWH. If we got this suit outside of NWH, it probably would have had the more beetle-esque rounder back logo

I've been in the minority that Tom's Spidey in general is a fantastic mix of Brian Michael Bendis and Stan Lee/Steve Ditko Spidey. MCU was always 616 soul and 1610 aesthetic, I think Tom's stories and costumes live up to this even if people don't like the Disney channel humor of Homecoming and FFH. They even homage the original print/misprint of Ditko's suit with the red, black, white spider. The straps on the stark suits give Spidey the 1610/MCU military treatment since Spidey is technically a government agent fighting for the sokovia accords. The night monkey shit is the noire suit, and the NWH homemade suit is telling audiences the transition from Ditko to Romita Sr. is coming . Aka the change in tone from high school comedy to young adult drama.

If Tom's had a diff shade of blue, unused CW suit front logo & HC back logo, I'd agree.
I'd also actually agree with Raimi being #2 if you used SM1 suit as opposed to the SM2/3 one.
The silver webbing of the Raimy suit never bothered me at all I just felt like it was cool how it matched the color of his webs and in old comics it's just easier to make them black lines the actual webs were even black looking at times so I thought the silver was the right choice for a live action adaptation but that's just me I guess
Not just you, I agree, and we cants say its exactly silver, it is reflective so it change color and make shades of black due to metallic properties, so it was perfect, it just add variation to color like a metal have that has gradient from white to black, so it also never bother me, it was more accurate for me because it allowed for me to see webbings more prominently from far or different lighting conditions instead of being lost due to being fully black and 2d . So tobey was better adaptation and more accurate still, yeah maybe it can be little more darker like TASM2 suit and it would be good, but it doesnt matter, sometimes, when u adapt things to real life, u need to change color of some elements to give better overal vibes, its about overall perception compared to individual details, some things doesnt make sense when u copy to real life, so raimi just tried to fix them by changes, at first he also tried dark webbing or rounder eyes, but hedecided they dont give that cool strong vibes of spiderman in comic so he changed. In paper, if u make a dark line on red, dark lines look prominent, but in real life if u make dark line on red fabric, they lose prominency, so he had to make them lighter and prefered metallic material so it wont be fully white and it will have gradient, its how real adaptations done, turning flat things to gradient to add details or turning 2d things to 3d things to add realism, thats how design works, Even in buildings, u reduce 3d features and draw everything with dark lines to make them feel as prominent as we perceive in real life,
I really don't understand why having suits be 100% comic accurate is such a desired thing for these movies. Shouldn't the main hope simply be that the suit is just good? That it's a cool suit that suits the character in 1 or more ways? I think this suit is great because it takes the classic suit, and alters it in ways that I think make it look so much cooler, such as changing the two logos, giving it the MCU eyes, and a lot of texture to make it more visually interesting. But it's not like it's the greatest achievement to me, or even something absolutely necessary to strive towards that it looks like the comic suit, and I don't think it should be so important to absolutely go for the comic look. Make what looks good and references the comic material, not what looks exactly accurate. If full accurate, or almost full accurate is what will make it look good, then by all means go for it, but that's not always the case.
I agree. Not only does Tom’s nwh suit have that classic vibe, but he also has those lens.
Honestly I really like the spider logo on the front being kind of gold and kind of black. It makes him stand out and more unique. It also shows that he remembers Tony with it being gold (of course it looks gold only when the light hits it right to my knowledge).

Isn’t the far from home suit sort of inspired by the ditko suit? The colour scheme atleast, the red and black. Although they went for a white back logo instead of a blue logo, you could possibly talk about that.

I absolutely Love the No Way Home classic suit. Because I've been waiting 3 years for Tom's Spider-man to make a classic suit for himself.
I really like the shiny blue because when being shown in a film it'll really put emphasis on Spidey when he's doing something heroic. If they get a good director he'll look incredibly cool.

Instead of changing it on the sequels for toy selling they could:
-Sell the battle damage version figure.
-Make him build suits for special occasions (like a Spider armor) and sell the figures of those suits.
yess everyone think at the end of movie he get a new suit and they think he will use it in next but he wont, they will make new suit again in new movie to sell toys, so we wont experience this suit in next movie probably, also yes, they can even sell a toy without making big changes, remember when ı m kid, ı would buy toys for spiderman 1 spiderman 2 spiderman 3 even suit is almost same, noone care about designs, people care about buying the new toy with slight differences as well, and marvel have hundreds of toys to sell, many characters,
Finally, most classic comics and accurate suit in movie
I think the TASM 2 suit edges out the Raimi suit due to the web pattern being black and having it go up the middle of his forehead like in the comics (something te Raimi suit lacks). I might be able to lean towards the 2002 suit being more accurate due to the wider white eyes and the big back logo, but I still lean more towards TASM 2 - that mask does most of the work.

I never thought about it until I watched this video, but the way they put those black lines over the metallic blue makes it kinda accurate to shading from the comics but also special and unique! Totally different design-wise, but similar in effect to Henry Cavill’s thin mesh blue suit laid over a silver metallic under suit to make an awesome very unique overall product

Raimi Spider-Man 1 suit is the best of the three movie variations. To me, it's very comic accurate. It's beautiful. I just prefer the tasm 2 outfit because it just felt right and felt like it was right out of the comics. In the comics, they'd basically just be two different takes by different artists.

I think it would be cool to see a live action version of the Sensational Spider-Man suit. The MCU Iron-Spider has some elements of that suit with the spider design in the front of the suit.

Something I like about the Raimi suit is the eyes. Even though they aren't exactly like the comics, they still embody the angry look of John Romita Sr's art.
